Seedling Death

Question, 2 WW sprouts, 1.5 inches tall, stem appear to pinch itself off and fall over and died. What causes this? The others are all ok?

Hey, this actually just happened to me with one of my new seedlings.. it was weird, the other two were perfectly fine. I think it may have something to do with drying out - as soon as I soaked the cup in water it bounded right back up, but the leaves were drying out as if the buckle prevented good water flow to the top of the seedling. I pulled it and found an OK root system but the buckle in the stem looked pretty bad. Maybe it just grew that way for some reason.


Pretty sure it's not our fault.
