Why do all you guys say the same things... Jeeez. I know the information that is helpful are located in the forums/posts but I have SPECIFIC QUESTIONS I want answered by other Aerogardeners after I did my initial research. I'll be honest guys, there's a ton of wasted text in this forum with you guys espousing the beauties of getting the info from postings of other people but what is the point of these forums if hardly anyone actually responds to the actual and current problems faced by aerogardeners like me. You guys just repeat yourselves with this nonsensical practice of telling folks to go look it up. Well, we did look it up and we need MORE HELP and INFO!!!!! I'm so TIRED of hearing that! If someone has a dilemma and needs some additional info, just give it to them and stop this nonsense of telling people to go LOOK IT UP! this is a place to share ideas, strategies and methods, not to restate the obvious.

Don't you think newbs to AG are looking and reading a ton of posts before they start growing. OF COURSE. But in the practice of growing, situations pop up and people need help figuring things out, not stupid and assinine comments about looking it up. WHERE TO LOOK MY SPECIFIC PROBLEMS UP? What? I gotta spend 3 hours looking for 1 piece of information? You guys are nuts... Isn't it just easier to post a thread and have some decent and intelligble responses that other people can learn from as well as opposed to wasting valuable time.

For you pros who are adamant that all and every info possible is in the posts, I have to say, SORRY, YOU ARE WRONG! There are some basic themes and strategies we can all learn from but let's start focusing on specifics and giving answers to folks that need them, without all the GASS you give out about looking it up! You have no idea how tired I am of hearing you guys post - LOOK IT UP - to most of the newbie threads.

Let's change our attitude and think of helping each other out and saving each other some time.

if you got AG info i think ill pass. i grow full-size, grown-up pot plants that yeild 3-4 oz's apiece. i think im doing okay without your secret sauce.:lol:

I agree, it is tedious to read thru all the post to find exactly what your're looking for. We need someone to write a really detailed grow faq. so that newbies don't have to read 100's of posts. Unfortunately I did read thru most of the posts thats how I got my info. I am also not new to growing, I usually grow in soil. I am new to the aerogarden and hydroponic/aeroponics.
One thing that has helped me is grow books, I own a bunch as well as all the info in magazines. Reading the grow books is a good primer for any newbie to growing.

OP: yea, its kind of annoying when you have a specific problem or question and people just quote the same posts, that don't really even pertain to your issue.

If I can find some time today I'll start gathering info for a big AG grow faq.

Not everyone has 3 feet of vertical space to grow a monster plant.

And in addition to that, some people want to grow hydro, not soil.

The AG is a near-complete package compared to getting random parts at various stores.

Looks mighty pretty in a cabinet too I might add :lol:

We're here in the first place lookin' shit up, so when you guys say that, it's kind of dumb because if we were that lazy, we wouldn't have linked to this rollitup site to begin with, so to that, I say, SHUT THE HELL UP WITH YOUR GO LOOK IT UP NONSENSE. Don't even waste our time with those words anymore, especially with that stupid DOUBLE POST comment. Most don't double post whenever I see that comment. I think everyone wants to be the boss and more should just try to be helpful and let the bosses of the site be the bosses.

For the pros that dish out information and respond intellegently to people's questions, then to those I say, THANK YOU FOR SPENDING TIME ANSWERING OUR QUESTIONS!

That's really it, and yes, the SEARCH FUNCTION within threads SUCKS BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Imagine the time we can all save if we can search by filtering from varying Subjects...

I have gotten help and this Thread is not about getting help but making some valid points. I'm glad other people agree with me because it confirms the obvious, that the comment of GO LOOK IT UP is completely annoying and yes, the search function should work. We'll be patient... Otherwise, you haven't said anything worthwhile, other than trying to denegrate when I'm trying to PROPOGATE!

U wanna kno how i learned.... Resarch yep its called research about 4-5 months of it. How the f are u supposed to learn without studying?
