help 3 weeks in flowering but buds seem tiny

right i checked a few things out my temp is stable 27c lights on and 20c lights off
no light leaks during dark period

my light is 600 hps hung just under a foot away from top of plants (2) plants by the way

my tap water before sitting out is ph6.4 after sitting 24 hours ph.6.0

once added canna flores and boost accelerator the ph stays at 6.0

does my pc need to be higher??for soil

i checked run off my soil when i watered with just plain water it says 6.0 ph

why are my buds remaining small for 3 weeks flowering

1. i forgot to say i find the tops on both and left them veg for 3 days then flipped to 12/12
they both doubled in height first week 12/12

maybe the above is the delaying factors as it takes a week to stretch and as i film maybe an extra week to sort its self out maybe??

so could i be right in thinking the reason my buds are small is either ph low but have healthy looking plants? over watering and feeding still look healthy although i have calmed down the frequency from every day to two feeds two plain waterings per week
or could it be they really only initiated producing hairs once stretch and recovery from film was over therefore they really have only been flowering for a short period??????
i ph at 6.5 i also use a liquid ph kit. i don't no what you have meter or liquid kit but im sure they are going to read different. i think the liquid kit gives a more accurate reading.

thats good maybe you are not useing enough bloom nuts, myself i would increase just a little bit. your plant will let you no if somthing is wrong. you won't wake up the next day a see find a dead plant. ass my plant get bigger i always increase my bloom nuts and amount of water per plant. i start out with 1 gal. and mid flower im to 3 gals. per plant. im also in 19 gal. pots

Hmmmm, I would say that the temperature has less to do with it, and the light and CO2 have more to do with it. Think about weed grown in tropical climates... Now, this can depend on your strain, but most are pretty forgiving when brought up an extra 4 degrees or so... The light and CO2 are a huge issue though. If there is ANY light coming in during their sleep time it will seriously affect the yeild. Also, if you turn your fan off when the lights go off and put CO2 in at "night" it will let them make the most of it through the dark time without the fans blowing it all away. all u need is an extra timer, a tank of bar gas and an ourput regulator for it :)... 150 bucks tops

can you convert gallons to litres and what is your feeding schedule water twice feed twice
let me say this first my plant only sees plain ph'ed water when i check the ph out the drain and when its time to flush. i feed my plants every 3 days due to large pot. (19 gal). no water in between

WOW...you dont know what your talking about.

im not even going to get into the importance of temp...

your plants dont use CO2 during the dark cycle. why do you think commercial greenhouse controllers are set to turn off co2 during the dark cycle?:dunce:

and you want to turn off the fans at night?!? when humidity is high and the risk of mold is greater than in the day.:wall:

what a waste of a post.

i cant stand disinformation...its fucking cancer.

he could have just got someones harvest full of mold or worse yet killed some poor bastard who put a co2 system in thier bedroom closet and had it on all night.

wow im learning a lot from reading this thread. My buds are kinda looking the same as the OP and I just turned 2 weeks into flowering.

Now not to hijack but i have a few questions and this might be helpful info for me AND the original poster of this thread.

1. When the lights are off you still want the fans on right?
2. To prevent any light leak can you just use a green light in your room rather then a regular light?
3. If not using CO2 the max your growroom should be no more then around 84*F?
4. During the flowering stage, should you feed it nutes with every watering?

Again i dont want to seem like im hijacking the thread but after reading this thread im almost in the same boat so thought this will be helpful for us all. Thanks guys for any input!!!

Very true... You want fans 24/7, you don't use co2 at night.

INSTEAD OF STANDING IN A CRAMPED DARK CLOSET... and possibly breaking something, or squashing a plant...

Why not just check for light that comes out when the lights are on... DUH!

Not you tnmowtown...

*1. Yes fans 24/7... Not strong, just a gentle breeze, make the fan leaves dance around a little, but not like a flag on a flag pole...

*2.Yes, you can use a novelty green CFL bulb, the output isn't enough to fuck anything up, and they barely notice the green spectrum... You can also find green LED flashlights and headlamps at some hydro shops...

*3.That's not the max temp... The max would be 90 degrees, some say higher, but you're risking root problems... The IDEAL temp for co2 supplementation is 85*F...

-And keep in mind that co2 is absorbed by flowing over the surface of the leaves, so fans are key...

-Also the higher temps open the pores on the leaves so the co2 is more easily absorbed.

*4. It really depends on your knowledge, what nutrients and supplements you're using, if you're metering it all...

For example;
-If you're just using base nutes at bottle strength, water every other feeding...
-If you are using a rigorous feeding program full of supplements, enzymes and beneficials you can feed every watering no problem...

Be careful of leaving the green light on if you choose to use one... I'm a stoner and guilty of leaving it on several times in previous grows... No herms from it so it was all good...

Needless to say, I no longer use one and stick to the little green flashlight if I need to go in at "night"

i think he was talking about lighting in the room outside the closet. i think lightproofing the closet will be way less annoying than using green lighting. but it would probably work, just make sure its real green light. cheap party bulbs wont work.

and i also think he meant max temps w/o co2. which i myself would put at 80-85 degrees farenheit.

thats where im usually at myself, about 73. i hit just under 80 in the summer though without any ill effects though.

sweet, that helps a lot. Also so if im just using foxfarm nutrients and following their schedule, just feed with every other watering right?

yep, thats what i was trying to say. No co2, so i don't go any higher then 84ish degrees.

I was just about to get a green party bulb but didnt think it was the same. Just gonna check my closet also for any light leak. BTW you think if i switch my bulb from 400whps to 600whps it would help the grow a little more?
