Hey everybody, this is my second grow and things aren't starting well. Im using a DWC system which worked perfectly last time but this time isn't looking so well. I have one nirvana bubblicous and one feminized red diesel and one dank bag seed. The bigger one is the bubblicous and that is the one looking its worst. I have Stealth Hydro light set up so i know they aren't getting burned. And it is only H20 in the reservoir so there ARE NOT nutrients yet. The bigger one is 2 1/2 weeks from seed and the others are 1 1/2 weeks from seed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Nuit burn, back off with it and just give them water after a few days of nothing, looks a nice set up, you should always start off with water and build up (very slowley) let them crawl before they run, they will be fine never panic they are weeds, best of luck.

Dude are you sure there was nothing in that tank but h2o ? nothing left in from the past etc, they might just be getting even to much h20, also its best for water to be sitting a few days before use, let it settle ok 3/4 days.

What did you change?

They must be getting plant food from somewhere or they're gonna die. The seedling's food reserves (cotyledons) will only carry the plant so far, then it's up to you to supply all 16 essential elements.

wow they need nutes, i think hydro should always have a low PPM level of nutes in it at all times b/c even the shittiest soil still has SOME kind of nutrients and minerals in it, while plain water may only have a few minerals.

so, they are big enough that they've lost their cotyledons they need nutrients, start low i think around 400 ppm with your veg nutes and see how they do.

it isn't nute burn at all, the leaves are yellownig because the new growth is cannibalizing the old growth in order to stay alive.

400ppm grow nutes with ph around 5.5-6.0 should do you right. bump up ppm by 200 as neeeded.

uncle ben look at the 2 on the right they look like they are getting fed but not liking it, am not saying am 100% right but if they were mine id be flushing them with pure h2o then a very little tomato plant food to grt some colour back into them, have a closer look for the guy PLEASE.

Well thats the thing in the resivoir there is ONLY WATER no nutes. Im thinking what happened is that i didn't soak the hydroton rocks before i started the growth.....so they might still be soaked with BLOOM nutes..... I fucked up pretty big... is there any chance for redemption with these little babies? What can i do in the next day to fix the problem?!?!?!?!

Dude you are always going to get diffrent people telling you diffrent things, if they were my plants i would not be giving them anything but water for the next 4/5 days and not much of that either just a liitle to keep them moist, also id be giving them some nice air not direct onto them just around them ok, then after day 5/6 a very small amount of nuits or tomato plant food, ''please note this is just my view ok'' the leaf under the foil looks burnt and you only get that with food, the ones on the right look fed, as the middles are dark green, as i say and say again (ed rosenthal) if in doubt (FLUSH WITH WATER) best of luck and ill keep track of how you get on ok, when i have trouble and i still do after 15 years of growing i do nothing but give them a little water (A LITTLE) they always recover, (ALWAYS)

The tips are yellow ! and leafs are burnt they need water with ''NO'' NUITS its the nuits that is burning them look at the guys pics in detail, they need water for 4/5 days and not much of that, you dont get patches on leafs with water, you get patches on leafs cos they are getting burnt with nuits, ''to strong for them at this stage in their life'' they are babies.

Man you have to give them food they are suffering from looks like mg and ca deff. You can feed by the third set of leaves.

Flush????? He is there is nothing but straight water in the res man. They are in need of food like the other people have told you. Feed them don't listen to this superhands guy. Start out at a 1/4 even if you are scared of burning them and then with every res change move it up a notch.

Read what the guy has just said above, AM TELLING YOU THEY ARE GETTING BURNT.
They need flushed with water and nothing else.

Am just trying to help the guy, if he has not washed the clay balls the roots will be getting burnt from his old bloom nuits, chill.

I say feed them a small amount of veg food. The spots on the leaves are the next phase of a nitro deficiancy. Plus that they are lacking most vital nutrients. If lyou did not rinse the clay pebbles of bloom nutes and it is having an effect on the plants they would really only be low in nitrogen, so that is probably not the problem at all. Just give them 1/4 strength veg food and you should see them begin to change to a more lush green.
