I found seeds in my sac

ok so as i was going through my sac i noticed i got some buds that were late with removing the males so i had a lot of seeds. I'd say i have about 40 seeds maybe. I was thinking of possibly doing some outdoor growing since the mountains are somewhat near my location. I was wondering if i was possible to grow with those seeds and if so how would i start?

Yeah it's possible. First you need to germinate them, wrap them in a paper towel. Get paper towel wet and put it in plastic ziplock bag. Put it on the back of the tv or something where they'll stay warm. This is by no means the best way to germinate but I think it'll work well for you and your seeds.

my experience with bag seed was my first. seven out of about 12 hatched and were all femals and now i have done many grows bc of that first

Um, wait like two or three days then open it up and check for roots.

i have alot of bagseed...mostly from different bags tho....but so far i have germinated 3..and only 1 of thos 3 didnt make it...the other ones are doin fine..and one of em is doin REALLY good...

You'd be suprised what you can get from bagseed, I have a friend that got over 5 zips off 3 plants. They were grown outdoors but it was some nice commercial. I easily sold 2.5oz for him at 25 a 8th.

I was just saying I was sure one would be good. Theres no harm in checking when all your out is a paper towel.

MORE THEN THAT will be good...unless the bagseed has gone under alot of crushing and stress....and what not...i would say the ratio is more like...25/40...but thats just how many are predected to germinate..now as far as growin them into usable plants thats up to you...also depending on how many are male or female...that will deff lower the ratio...but there is no way to tell untill you start seein balls or hairs... GOOD LUCK

I'd say you got a 50/50 chance if the seeds are good or not then a 50/50 on if they are males or females. 10 Plants if your ungodly lucky.

Maybe you could give us more information on the condition of the seeds, like are they average size, below average, above average? Color would help some, if any of them are white i'd scrap them now.

well i do not know much about seeds but most are brown

i have a few that are white

but yeah immediatley after i found them in my bag i put them in a dry plastic container

the white ones are no good...also if they seem brittle and crack under easy finger pressure they are no good...

I just went through this same process a few months back and honestly...this worked best, for me at least....soak em in a ziplock bag with a lil ph'd water not a ton just enough to submerge them all on ur monitor or something that is really warm...almost hot...for 24 hours then plant them in jiffy pots or rockwool in a propagator and put the clear cover on and put back on ur warm device.....i just did a nother set of bagseed and got 17/18...2 days later.....seems to work for me
