So if me and my friend were doing this would it be fucked up. In my opinion it would be funny. I'm not knocking disabled people. I have a cousin who is mentally disabled. I volunteer with disabled children. Its just funny.

im not gonna lie i chuckled a little I just think about if it were me in their shoes and I wouldn't want my shit up on youtube and have thousands of people crackin up at it and laughing at it with all their buddies.......just doesn't seem right to post it on this forum like that

definately wrong to laugh at.... but at the same time, they are having a BLAST!! my uncle is retarded, grandparents raised both of us; so i grew up around him and his small social group... these people dont get to have fun like that often; its nice to see them get together and have fun; maybe they felt normal for the night.... surely cant be easy

we can watch "retards" dance, but we cant talk about satisfying farts? lol :bigjoint:

exactly.

if you laugh because they are handicapped them you have issues. why would that even be considered? i saw a group of people really enjoying themselves. i see no need to laugh "at" them. =/

i said b4 that they looked like they were having a good time. the one guy was 'singing' with the band, they were all dancing... the party looked fun. the only part i laughed at was then the two guys head-butted each other, then started to ballroom dance.

maybe i put my words together in the wrong way:-(

Thanks FDD, was getting a little nervous there... Thats a great dvd there. Must have a look for it tonight. You know the spanish actually entered a basketball team into the special olympics who were not ''special''before.

And last year in the special olympics there was an irish guy who organiser said ''wasn't disabled enough'' so they pulled him from the competition. he only had cerebral palsy

heres the links if your interested.

amen... their lives are hard enough... contrary to what most people think "retards" are self conscious and know what is going on.... making fun of them only makes their battle to feel normal that much harder... now if one of those guys in the video tried to pull my ass out on the dance floor; i would laugh... probably would put my moves to shame:lol:
