New grow journal - ko kush, yumbolt

just started my new grow, two KO KUSH and two YUMBOLT. The clones are in thier third day of 18/6 hour lighting.. they are in fox farm ocean forest, the only thing theyve been fed is some half strenght liquid seaweed, AN humic and fulvic acid. . they were in pretty bad shape when i got them from my supplier but they are looking better. . they are under 400 hps (not too close). the pics are pretty shitty becuase they are from my cell. . i will have better pics when i find my usb cable for my camera.

6th day veg. 18/6 lighting - the two ko kush on the left are looking stronger than the two yumbolt on the right.. in a couple days i will be transfering into bigger pots with probably 80% ocean forest 20% perlite. .

thanks. I am on day 11 now. . and have i transplanted my babies into 3g containers on saturday with a mixture of 75% ocean forest 25% perlite. They have outgrown the dying leaves from when i got the clones so i clipped them off. They have each been fed the following in 1/2g portions since being transplanted: 7.5ml of fulvic and humic acid, 10ml liquid seaweed and sensizym, 5ml organic b and sweetleaf. . and about 2ml of sm-90.. my temps have been: low - 68F high 84F, usually in 78-82 range. . my humidity seems to be very low at the moment. . about 30%.. the pics from left to right, ko kush 1, ko kush 2, yumbolt 1, yumbolt 2. .

foliar fed some liquid seaweed and sm-90 last night, plants seem to have liked it; they woke up nice and happy.

so im on day 18 veg (20/4 light). . i decided to flush yesterday becuase i think i may have over done it on the nutes this passed week. . i also got a humidifier a few days ago, i should have done it sooner. My humidity was around 20-30%, now its 50+. Also got a speedster fan control so i set up my 4" vortex, it was pretty loud in my condo before, now its set on low-med most of the time and it brings in plenty of fresh air and its a lot more quiet than the reg fan i got just blowing around in there. . ko kush on the left. . yumbolt on the right..

Will you only be using the 400 w light? Good luck on the grow! I am also trying my hand at some Kush. From seed, however. Will be hydro instead of soil. We'll see how it goes. Keep up the good work. They look to be in good shape, so you are nursing your little babies to good health...

yup, i will only be using a 400w hps. hopefully next time around ill get rid of it and upgrade to a 600w... yeah, trying to nurse back to health. . they werent burning up or anything but the leaves were starting to curl inwards. . my conditions were very dry around 20-30% humidity with temps in the low- mid 80s maybe that had something to do with it, now im at 50+ humidity and mid-high 70s temp. . i also raised the lights a bit. . . what kind of kush will you be growing, do you know? this is my second time growing a kush strain. . i had good success first time around, so hopefully it will continue.

I'm hoping for first time success myself. I'm first time growing Kush, first time hydro and pretty much a newbie rookie all around. I bought the seeds from www.bcseedking.com They don't elaborate on the species of Kush. Just call it Kush. Time will tell. I'm going to try and get a little journal together myself. I got way more room than I need and I'm afraid I won't have enough light. One thing for sure, each plant will have its own space LOL. I'll keep a watch on yours keep the karma full circle.

those look like theyre going to be some good kush seeds.. do you know how many seeds your going to try to sprout yet? if your worried about the space. . maybe you should think about splitting the space in half with some panda film. . that way you have a veg room and a flower room. . way more efficient.

You know I didn't think about that. That is a great idea! Only problem is I've already run my set up and the hydro hoses are cut and in place. Maybe something to keep in mind though. I can always cut new hose and rerun it. I got 15 seeds and they just sent me something today. I have no idea what it is, but seeds for sure. I didn't buy them, so who knows. Doesn't even say what they are, just D.C. on them and a smily face. Any ideas. I really don't know why they sent them to me. Either way, I had 15 and germinated 5 of them. All five popped and I just got done transplanting them to the grow tent. Working on things now. Hydro is certainly challenging for a newbie, but fun too. I'll let you know how things go. Hope your babies are doing well! :bigjoint:

On those seeds that were just sent to me. I didn't order them, but they are from Victoria, BC... So Canada. The only thing on it is DC in the upper corner and FG next to the seeds. Then a smiley face? Strange, but also cool with me. There is 15 seeds to the "Mystery Strain" Maybe they are sending out free seeds to current customers?

day 25 veg - plants havent been watered since last sundays flush.. they're thirsty but im going to try to wait till wed. to feed them some worm casting tea a local hydroshop brews.. i plan to veg for about one more week depending on how they look. .

so i vegged my plants for about a week longer than expected because i decided to germinate five seeds i had come across over probably the last six months. . i cant remember the strains though:wall: they are like a week old i think. .

i switched the lights to 12/12 yesterday so basically flowering from seed.

i also picked up a cheese clone the other day that was bigger than usual in a 3" rockwool cube. so thats will also be flowering.

im actually already in day 23 flowering, just havent updated becuase nobody seems to check it out. . and i lost my usb connection for my camera, so just have cell phone pics. . not that great.
