what to do with top of BP DWC when changing res...

I don't think I read this anywhere, but I'm about to do a res change and was wondering if there were any creative ideas out there as to how to suspend the top and the plants while the res change is done. I am now realizing it's a good idea to keep a spare tub around.

I just always have one of my close buddies hold it up. spare res is a good idea too!

when I started mine I bought 2 identical buckets, just out one and in another, but the top also has a mounting point on each corner so it can be hang below the lights, just move the lights up first then hang the top

i use my sink when theyre young, just position the lid to cover the sink with the roots dangling in the sink, i then also clean my roots off at this point and let all the excess crap go down the drain, other wise i just use a larger rubbermaid container and do the same thing, kind of criss crossing it you know?

take your spare tub and just fill it with nutes...then just change the lid over to the new rez...problem solved
