Storm in Houston tonight... my outdoor is screwed.

I have a few babies in the yard each about 6'' tall.

I braved the storm and went out to check on them. This might be a total disaster for them.:cuss::wall:

It came through here from the due west, but not as bad as the people thought. Had Babies inside. Usually in Feb., there is one more, hard cold front barreling through. Even Easter sometimes. If your Babies is OK, be prepared for more cold fronts & storms. Some type of cover, weighted down for high winds. Good Luck from a Houstonian.

Things weren't as bad as I thought. I put them behind the garage as a wind break and this morning I just picked up the pots that tipped over and put a little soil back in. Hopefully there wont be any shock!

The thing you really gotta worry about when a storm comes is if the plants gonna blow over and the stem gonna break. Just tie up your plants befoe the storm comes. Get a sturdy thin stick, and stake up your plants.

It seems like this defeats the whole purpose of growing outdoors for me. I like them to grow up blowing in the wind all the time so they grow big thick stems to transfer nutes to the top for big bud production and for support.
