Whats going on here?????

Hi,

I posted a thread a week or two ago regarding my plants here's the link http://forum.grasscity.com/sick-plan...-see-pics.html

Anyway after I flushed them they started improving, but they still aren't even close to being perfect.

I am using the Bio Bizz nutrients range and light mix soil. The leaves are curling like a rams foot which suggests to much nitrogen so I reduced the amount of Bio Grow (it says on the label that it is 8% nitrogen) There is three weeks to go including the flush, and a lot of the leaves have nute burn which I can't undersatnd as I am following the guide lines exactly. Also the buds haven't really taken off yet.

On a seperate question Im not sure if the c02 is being used propperly. I feel like the c02 is coming out in more of a straight line spray missing the top collars, i.e not a wide angle spray. Does this matter, will the room fill up anyway etc? The pipe is clear PVC. Pics of the c02 setup can be seen in my last post.

Thanks to all for the much needed help....

I will be checking the post often so let me know if there is anything else you guys need to know.....

looking to me like nute burn/over fert- with three weeks to go, I would drop the nitrogen, flush and feed with bloom nutes.

just using liquid nutes... I'm going by the bio bizz schedule so i'm not sure why they are over fertilised???
...because plant nutes are generally made for heavier fruit bearing plants and perennials, while mj does not need quite that much and seem to be much more sensitive to ferts, especially when they are composed of harsher ingredients like Scott's and MG. Good rule of thumb is to go half of reco schedule. especially if this is 1st -3rd grow

I thought the bio biz range was designed for marijuana i.e two months flowering cycle etc.

What's strange is I have used this before several times and had no problems..... could be the strain?

Just started flushing them there...:bigjoint:

u may be right but Im pretty sure none of that is for MJ. could be you have a 'hot mix'. flushing and immediately feeding with half strength should help.

looking again, could aslo be an mg deficiency. see if you can pick up some hydrated lime or fine dolomite lime and add to top layer of your soil. if not, try some epsom salts. looks ok otherwise, some deficiency can be tolerated if last half of flowering.

just looked at ur pics and that deffo looks like neut burn!!!!!
flush ur plants with 3times the volume of soil=let the top 3inches dry after the flush then cut back to 1/4 strength of ur recomended dose of neuts slowly building ur way back up to a comfortable dose!!

something to think about=if u are using neuts designed for hydro but still can be used with soil,NEVER GO OVER HALF THE RECOMENDED DOSE ON THE BOTTLE!!
i dont kno if thats ur situation but its something not every1 knows about!
