Hey
So after about 3 week of trial and lots of errors... This is what i got... A sprout? Does it look right? Look healthy? I just moved her under a CFL. Keeping her moist... and the plan is to move her into a small bubbleponics bucket. I want this one to live!!! I have been having bad luck.
Any thoughts would be helpful.
Thx
ive more time to turn green it will be fine. Looks like a slow strain. It could be worth the wait.

m8 ive trawled the forums n cant find an awnser so ill ask u! See if you pot a plant in a pot and dont fill it right up with soil and then when it stretchs enough to fill it near the rim and not covering the lower side branch's what effect does it have good or bad because im covering about 3 inch of the bottom of the stem and the plants arent stretched i done it on purpose for a little while so i can fill the rest off the pot with soil later on and there still in veg btw and will be for a while yet so im thinkin the roots will fill the new soil n help over all yeild the reason i done this is because it has to be better than repotting. i asked this dopey question the other day plz just a short awnser is all i want its 1 aff the few things i havent read up on cause i cant find anything saying about it plz plz plz plz

I can probably tell you this the seedlings are stretching b/c the lights are to far away move em closer 3-6 inches away. If I wer you just in case I woul transplant it into a bigger pot and fill the soil to the firs leaves of the plants. Make sure you move the lights a little closer so It does not streetch.

Most seeds germinate within 48 hours but some take 10 days to germinate give em time. make sure there in a dark No light at all, You can check on them at most twice a day. warm not too warm room temp is ok, moist not wet just keep the paper towel moist.

Yeah just spritz a little distilled water(to start the seeds at the right ph) . Darkness and a little warmth is the key. After the taproot is 1/4 an inch long CAREFULLY plant root down into the soil s and gently put the soil over it. Bury the seed bout1/4 an inch deep.

If you have your wet paper towel in a Tupperware container or some other sealed container or say in a bowl or on a plate in a ZipLoc bag it will not dry out. You will have to open it once a day and let the air change a bit but it will keep the moisture in and your paper towels will not dry out so there is no risk of a half-germed bean or partially germed bean drying out and dying.

Alright man im gunna sum this up quik cause i have to go. Any soil is ok as long as it drains well and the ph is 6.2-7.0. If you want to go and buy some soil go and get a lighter soil that does not have fertilizers in it so u can controll and add food when you need it. get a soil with some peat moss and vermaculite mix. U can also get a ph tester for 5 dollars. Check ph often. Also buy some per lite for good drainage. For food veg 20-20-02 any brand is ok just dont start feeding until its first five leaf sprots even then 1/4 strength. For flowerin 8-34-8 with high phosphorus good for bud growth. Lights cfls are cheap and effective get twoo high wattages for each plant. MH are nice. These lights give off blue light good for vegatation. For flowerin when u put the lights in 12/12 use a hps light tht gives off red light for good bud growth. Good luck and if u have any more questions leave a message and ill get back to u later today. up my rep pleas. tnx

Do not use any soil that has slow release fertilizer in it. Any quality name brand potting soil will do, as long as it does not contain slow release fertilizer in it, but there are numerous special mixes that do work better but then you can take a quality potting soil and add perlite and in some cases people like to add some sand and or vermiculite and they can pretty much duplicate the higher dollar specialty potting soils.

You will eventually need nutes but that is a LONG subject of its own and one with very varied opinions. But no nutes for about a month. Some say 3 to 4 weeks and some say 4 to 5 weeks and some will say even longer but whenever you do begin to feed mix a weak solution, like ¼ or 1/3 strength and then do not feed every watering or you will kill your babies with kindness. Seed have an initial supply of nutes in them for the seedlings to live off of so if you have a soil with slow release ferts in it and or feed your seedlings to soon you will burn them and maybe kill them.
