My plants have been doing awesome for the first month. the other day i watered one with nutes. i have 2 rockwool stacked, and i only watered one because it was bone dry. i dipped the bottom 1/2 inch or so in the nutes for a few seconds and pulled it out. the next day, it was all droopy and straight up died. What could be the cause of this? now i have another one (pic below) same thing is seeming to happen. are they getting to dry before i water them? my PH was around 5.5 and my nutes were pretty weak. PLEASE HELP!!!

what concentrate are you using for nutes? you should start out with 1/4 of what it says to use. get rid of the foil. paint walls flat white or use mylar. what are you using for lights? your plants look like they are stretching. i would up the PH alittle to. not 100% on that tho. and dont let then dry old that will mess up the roots and kill the plant. why are you still in just rockwool?

They look overferted. How often do you fertilize and do you flush? A ph of 5.5 is for hydro and 6.5 for soil. Im not sure with rockwool but I agree with crzy you should raise it a bit. I would adjust to 6.2 then flush and use water only for a while. If you let them dry out too much the root hairs die and its hard for plants to recover.

i did a little looking around and seen sum people using a drip feed 3 times a day for rockwool if that helps any. so that way they get watered at the same time every day. 6.2 sounds about right to me to. alot better then 5.5. nutes rely dont get used for the first month in my opion. what do u plan on puting ur plants in after the rockwool?

Hey thanks for all the responses! i actually found out i didnt water them enough. I watered the plant that was looking really weak and came back 2 hrs later and it was standing straight up! i am using a rockwool on top on another rockwool instead of transplanting into soil. my friend does that and gets dramatically more of a yield than with soil. I know the foil sucks. im getting other stuff today. it was just temporary. im just gonna stick with watering them for a bit before i give them nutes! thanks again for helping everyone!
