So I have about 300$USD to spend on my new grow op.

I have a space set out of about 4x3x6

I want to do hydro setup, Something like a DWC set up??
and I want to either get a homebox i.e (growtent) or make one on my own with pandafilm and wood. framing.

Where can I purchase the supplies I need online for an affordable price?
Are there kits out there I should be looking at?

I saw Stealth Hydro Bubbleponics systems
they look like what I want but I'm not sure if the lighting set up that comes with the kits are any good.

I saw that I could build a " bubble bucket" as well..

My main concerns are the growing medium and the lighting to use for about 300$.

Dude get a 400w HPS, (dont worry it will not affect power bill much) and some flouro strip lights for veg. If you want to get a DWC system make your own out of airpumps and 5 gallon buckets. But i would go soil if its your first grow.

If I was going to do soil. hmm what would you suggest besides the 400whps ??

The 4ft flouro tubes. T12. You can get them used for 20$ or less.

Alright, I'm going to go with that.
How can I cool my growspace??
I'm going to go with your suggestions I was trying to figure out what kind of lighting I was going to get but that sounds affordable.

Are we talking about using those 4ft. floros for the entire grow? Anyways I just wanted to say that I bought a SH bubbleponics kit, and it ran me about 150 (shipping including). I personally would not recommend it. You can make the entire system plus upgraded parts for less than half the price. There nutes aren't all that great either. You can also get a cheap HPS or MH that gives your plants more light, and better all around buds.

EDIT: I know some ppl on this forum love there bubbleponic systems from SH this whole argument was purely IMO, so don't hate me plz : )

I would also like to add, that the setup I purchased did not include lighting.

Nah hes getting the flours just to start the seedlings, then HPS. But yeah homeade DWC systems are pretty easy to make. But its easier to do soil for a first time grow.

yeah I bailed on the SH too because I saw the pricing and figured I could get a 400w HPS or 600w HPS instead and then build the thing my self.
Although the building sounds daunting. Anyone have a link for a HOW TO for the "bubbleponics" or "DWC"?
Anyways I am going to go soil I decided on that much.
Any other supplies I should be thinking of getting since i think the lighting will only take about 100$ out of my budget :O.
