I live on a fucking island thats surrounded by some of the best beaches in the U.S. (says travel channel) I also spend most days on my boat. I'm no stanger to burning and tanning. I have a tan all summer and it always starts with a burn for me.
I have had a much worse burn from a 12 minute tanning bed then my lights. Those beds have much more UVA and UVB light which gives you quite a nice tan or burn. The HPS and MH bulbs might have more Wattage but they are lacking somthing that the beds do have. Either way, Im not as burned today as yesterday, my face has more a tan then a burn, but my stomach is a bit red still. My back is pale white because I didn't want to lay on my stomach. So I have like a half tan.
But, It did work, at least as well as a shitty tanning bed does. Only it took me alot longer, and probibly cost me more then going to tanning salon.
I don't think I'll be doing this much more, due the the time it takes. But eitherway, I thought I should let everyone it does indeed work.
