Smoking the "TOPS" of your plant

So I just put my plants into the flower stage 12/12 and thought that it would be the perfect time to top my 3 plants. So i topped them and threw the tops under my light to dry out. Out of pure boredom i decided to throw them in my clean pipe and inhale. I GOT FUCKIN HIGH OFF OF IT!!! 1 of the tops didnt do much of anything but the other two got me a nice buzz. Could this mean that i have one male and 2 female? Or is this just some bizarre way of determining whether I have a male or female?

EDIT: After i pinched one off there was a black residue that came to the surfce of the plants wound... i think it was thc resign?!?!

dude, thats becuase if you know what gets you high you will know that theres none of it there, and theres no point in smoking it, unless you want to damage your lungs for no reason. belive me, ive tried smoking part of my plant that hadnt flowered at all, but i was like 14! i dont know about the black shit either, definatly not thc.

The black shit is just where the plant seals itself where its cut to prevent infection or air bubbles forming in its stem.
It is not smokeable resin
