Vertical vs. Horizontal Drying

Hello RIU Community,
I was wondering if anyone could put up the benefits and/or drawbacks of drying either vertically as in hanging the plants on hangers or string upside down. Or drying the plants horizontally on screens or in those drying chambers.

It kinda doesnt really matter just as long as the bud is dryed slow enough for the cannabiods to turn to THC. I guess if you hang your buds upside down they will have more resin near the bottom or top of the bud after turn back uprite cause resin could of drained from stems to the tip of buds.

this isnt. "resin" doesnt drain. by resin i guess youre talking about trychs? they dont roll down the plant. they stay on it unless they break and fall off. also the stems have very little thc so i dont think anything is "drained" from them into the buds.

there isnt really a difference between the two. some people have screens. others dont and just choose to hang them

Actully it is resin can drain from the stems.

I always dry mine upside down with brown paper bags tied around the buds.

Just as long as it is done slow, I think that is the Key!

i disagree. i dont think this is true at all. im not here to argue just throwing my 2 cents in. if you provide some proof of this ill be happy to admit my fault.
