some mansions of rasta are against the oppressive white culture, but not white people, rasta is whats in your heart not melonin. it is a religion that take pride in african culture and african roots, and is a struggle against oppression. sadly most of those oppressors were white, but all rastas are not so closed minded as some may be (especially the bobo dreads, but even they have said that all white people are not evil.) the prohet gad said read a passage a day and decide for yourself what rasta means to you.

we are all of the same blood the blood of abraham. we all are of african descent,

you can call it religion, or perhaps morals, or even common sense. if you hurt others you too will be hurt

to me jah is love, jah is inside me, he reminds me what i have worked so hard to achive in my life, he reminds me to turn the other cheek when others do me wrong, and he is the one who guides i an i down the path of righteousness.

but i do not belive that rightousness is solely based on religion. follow your morals, follow your ideals. we are all different the key is that we tolerate those differences and see each other as equals.

that is the way of the new.

Yah, that's a good attitude to have. Otherwise it might be difficult to explain the modern slave trade going on in Africa right now...blacks owning blacks. :mrgreen:

it is him who keeps I positive and reminds I not to fall into depression and lethargy.

the middle east held many people of african descent.

and many would argue that eden is truely in ethiopia and not mesopotamia and that the roman culture manipulated the texts to their own gains to make jesus, solomon, and abraham in their own image to justify their divine right to rule europa.

but regardless the anscestors of abraham came forth from eden(ethiopia) and were of african descent and most likely black and even if not they were still of african descent. as we all are


even science said that humans evolved in africa, so i think i have multiple points on my side here

but once again you are entitled to your beliefs and you are free to do what you wish. you will not undermine my faith, and my faith hurts you in no way. i am now heading back to the growing section as i feel i have said all i wanted to say and people at this point don't seem interested so i will just keep it to myself
