Hypothetical Hash Making Question

it's not about how much yet can get from X amount. it's about how well you can do it without getting anything but trichomes. you want as little plant matter as possible. this means as gentle of agitation as possible. i've seen these method where you grind up your trim to make hash, this is ALL WRONG. the last thing you want to do is break up your trim.

yeah you do, you mix all that nasty leaf matter in with your hash. you get more yield because it's half leaf.

dude, you don't have to do it with "nasty" leaf, i'm gonna do it with small popcorn bud and only high quality trim! if i could afford the bags i'd get em, but not at this point, all of us aren't in cali with lbs of bud around and ozs of hash!!

not nasty leaf, nasty leaf "matter". as in green stuff. as in ground up bud.

you can get 1 gallon bags for about 100 bucks. the first time i made hash i got about 3 grams. stop with the BS cali card.

try mixing the "bud" with ice water. use a large bowl or bucket. GENTLY stir it for ten or 15 minutes. use a paint stirring stick or wooden soon. DO NOT break it up. strain the ice and bud out. then filter out the "muddy" water. the mud is your hash.

all you want is the trichs. when you break the bud up you get broken bud in your hash. this is not good. weather you are making a gram or a 100 grams.

Is 2-3 grams of hash worth an oz of some decent bud? Im all for bubble hash, just dont wanna throw money away to make it.

When I followed the gumby method I used a blender to mix it all up, that must be why it wasn't very strong and wont press together, to much ground up leaf matter mixed in. I'll try your way next time fdd.

well dude if u wana know how the pros do it here it is...
i live near morocco wont specify where...
anyway the way my moroccan friends do it is to get a very fine siv so that only the thc crystals will drop through, siv the weed as much as you can then place a sheet over it and beat it with a blunt object, then siv, etc etc etc
