Do as you please.. You've apparently done a decent job dragging it along.. I had no idea that was the condition.. It was lost a long time ago, in a way..
I gotta admit, I peruse the pics I think are important from your descriptions/thumbs.. Alot of stuff like that might get by me, I've been looking more closely at the close-ups because first time growers always want to harvest too soon, and I wanted to be informed on that.. But when I knew you'd grabbed the gist of the maintenance knowing you had some cold probs, I glossed over most unless you were complaining..
For instance I looked closely for spider mites as soon as you mentioned unknown hairs, but saw no evidence and felt the pics would have shown that.. Then again, I still don't know what you meant.. I really hope you don't have spider-mites..
If you do though, I know a few ppl who have had great success giving the plant a SHORT term dosage of cold Canadian winter air..
