i have 12 23w cfls around her. 4 on top and 8 on the sides.Hey Hempie... know you loved my assassinate bush thread... Nice plant... How many Watts are the CFL... I count 7 are there more on top?
Im growing with CFL's and when I left my plant like 1 inch away from the light it looked exactly like your picture entitled "What?"
even if it is root bind its too late to repotDid you get that N Deficiency worked out or is it still spreading? From what I've seen N deficiency's like that DO harm bud production. Just a thought, could maybe not be so much an N Deficiency as a lack of rootspace. That fugger is big. Nice job.
276 total watts and if the lumens added up like you are asking it would be 19,200.You know how many lumens each or what the wattage equiveltcy blabla to an incondesent... you know how the package says real big what it looks like and than small what it is... which is what it is but not the one I want... is this understandable bbabble?
im sure she would be bigger if i used an hps but so would the light billShe is a beauty....I am starting to be surprised of the type of plants that are being produced by CFLs...I have been told numerous times that this is a bad method. I guess not eh?
I'm not so sure about that. If you used a 250W HPS light, you'd spend slightly less on electricity and end up with more lumens (~25,000).im sure she would be bigger if i used an hps but so would the light bill
if i were to invest in a hps it would have to be 400w + anything less is pissing in the windI'm not so sure about that. If you used a 250W HPS light, you'd spend slightly less on electricity and end up with more lumens (~25,000).
A tradeoff, of course, is that you wouldn't have the current luxury of engulfing your lovely lady with light.
yes i began a few days after that was taken@hempie - Did you end up flowering your plant at this height?

It's just that my plant is exactly the same as the one in that picture and I'm thinking of starting the 12/12 period in around 2 weeks.
Thanks... you give me hope as a new CFL grower lol276 total watts and if the lumens added up like you are asking it would be 19,200.
Haha, a 250w HID is pissing in the wind? Compared to CFL's? It's not pissing in the wind, it's efficiency.if i were to invest in a hps it would have to be 400w + anything less is pissing in the wind
