well what you look at is the watts per square foot, plants can use up to 100 watts per foot but around 50-60 is where you get diminishing returns, with 50 watts per foot of hps lighting you will get some killer nugs for sure so for your 11 foot area with a 600 thats like 54 watts per foot so your doing good

sorry i have been away for a bit. To hook an inline fan you need flex duct. Dot get the stuff wrapped in insulation. Figure where you want your fan. Mount it. Take an end of the flexduct and connect to your fan using a metal o clamp.run it to your light and connect with metal o clamp. On the other side of your hood connect flexduct and run it to your outlet. IMO it is best to have fresh air pulled across your light than blown across.

Gotta disagree with you here....

The impeller on the fan will work more efficiently with cooler air rather than warmer air.... cooler air is more dense, therefore more air gets moved with each "bite" of the fan...

Also, you must remember that blowing hot air across an electric motor will shorten it's life...

Now.. I have been told to STFU, because the loss in performance and fan life is minimal, but why go for the less efficient set up? even if it is just a little bit...

I go with what I know... I suggest you do the same.. but remember, we are all wrong from time to time...
