Once a day should be fine to check for pistols or sacs right and how careful do I need to be of removing them when they begin because like I said they are all getting intertwined.Well... you can keep an eye out.. and pull the pots with males before they release any pollen... but you gotta be watching like a hawk...
No the roots stay outta the pipes I actually took and put in pipe screens in the bottom to keep the roots outta the pipes. I could probably take empty 2 liters and screw them inplace when I take the males out and it will keep water outta there also. I do not need seeds I have hundreds of these seeds so I am also not taking any clones this time maybe like 6 total just to practice.Do the roots get in to the pipes at all? can you just unscrew one of the bottles as I suggested above? if not I guess you can always just pull the plant... you don't want seeds man... unless you are breeding.. but you need more space for that and it is pretty involved...
Just be careful.. no need for seeds.. unless you want them...
Oh... and make sure you clone now, before you go to flower... things just go a little smoother that way...
Actually there is a rockwool cube inside of the hydroton that I started the seeds in for about a week before putting them into the setup. As far as changing the timing down to 4 hr I was told that the roots should be dry before rewetting. "Do not apply until they're dry" not sure? What media are you using? Straigth hydroton?
I am using straight hydroton and flood for 15 min every hour with great results....
The aircooling for the light is that 31" long fan in the back on the wall behind the light that actually blows the heat from the light into the ducting and above the setup all together. It is just a cheap lowes brand pos haha. doesn't work that well but all I can afford. The only reason I started growing is I cannot afford to pay for the shit lol.OK.. so you light is not aircooled... right?
and that is your exhaust, connected to the 6" fan, right? what kind of fan is it? just a duct fan or is it a centrifugal fan?
What happens when you turn the 12" fan ON ??? is it just too much wind ?
What's that behind your light.. on the wall...?
When I turn on the 12" fan it wants to blow the plant tops over into each other but I figure that other fan is doing plenty I mean the plants are moving all the time so it should be good.
The plant in the corner had 2 failures in the beginning it is about 2-3 weeks behind the others so anything at all is what I am looking for its like its there may as well grow something lolThis plant will yield next to nothing, compared to the other ones...
Shading such as this is the main reason I have chosen to do lollipops... they do not block any light from each other or themselves...
Looks like a very clean set-up... Nice Job !!!
Thanks very much you can let me know anything that you see could help me in the long run because I am trying to get the maximum bud as possile. Thanks again.
That goes to everyone!
