Avatars

It doesn't really change the way I read things, but it does give me a perception of the person. For example: When TheConstantGardener had that god like avatar, I pictured him to be a very spiritual old man, now he has that freaky looking cat, so my perception has changed to just an average Joe with a sense of humor.
yep my thoughts exactly.

so I'm average now lol!

I'm neither old, nor spiritual. Well, my kids call me old but what do kids know? I'm above average height and I have more than the average number of arms and legs (think about this one).

Arrid's new avatar creeps me out big time especially when I am blazed. Speaking of which...it's time for a bowl.
Not average in a bad way, I'm just saying when you had that god looking avatar it made me think that you were some kind of moderator or admin:mrgreen:

I agree... Admins always have the best avatars on most forums! I find myself identifying people by their avatars, but not judging people by them.

I would really like to not be at work right now. I dropped the lady off at the airport this morning, so she's gone for a week. I have plenty of smoke, and lots of little projects to take care of... Nothing that work should take priority over! :-)

Avatars are reflection of us and how we are feeling and our personalities. Why else would you choose to represent yourself any other way. They don't change the perception of people to me, some make me laugh and some just outright freak me out. But that is like people.

I tend to lean towards laughter so I try and pick some funny avatars. Mine now is just showing that I am a big Bruce Campbell fan.

My avatar points out the fact that I support the local socially inept kids. Kids are our future, and you should alway encourage them to go for the gold!!

Yeah, I could do without that one. I did find myself staring at it when I first saw it... It was like a car wreck; I just couldnt look away!
