K so do not discount my journal rate away pics will come tomorrow with setup, plants, and nutrients. Here's a description of whats going on so far:

Just starting Veg cycle tomorrow clones have successfully rooted and are ready for hydro table

Hydro table is a 2'x4' ebb and flow with overflow and 226 water pump.

-hydroton and 1.5" rockwool plugs within pots

Table holds exactly 20 5"x5"x7.5" square pots. I will be doing a sog grow so plants will be veged till 6-8inches then flowered to keep them short.

strains:
2xsweet tooth
2xsweet dreams
4xblueberry
4xRupe
8xAk-47

All are equal in size when they enter table pics tommorow will show.

nutrients:
-Carboload liquid
-Big bud
-overdrive
-bud blood
-pirhana (fish that bites) (beneficial fungi)
-sweet leaf
-Jump start
-seni bloom a+b two part
-Botincare pro blend 1 part veg nutrient
-and calossal bud blast

400watt hps/mh switchable, also have a homemade vent fan, dont have to worry about smell in country. Will post pics and how i built it this week, it sucks hot air from above light and throws it out side, made from 2 pc fans and a shoebox lol, i think it will work great. hope it encourages more people to make there own diy stuff, it can work just as good as store bought stuff.

lol i went to put them up today but i cant find camera to take them, spring break in arriving so i can get that done then, PICS WILL COME. They will be 1 week into veg when pics will be posted

im sog'ing them their staying very short, only want one bud on each plant, its basically an experiment after this im going to LST with about 6-8

they each have 1 square foot of space, from what i read thats perfect for SoG, your right about the light tho i might need some CFL's during flowering

I used too,from clones and 1psqft is just fine,but you will have to be moving them around alot to maintain a even canopy.I had 2x600 and 2 3x3 trays,and still the outer plants had to be swapped for the ones getting the Good light.IMO a true SOG is better with clones,and you get more the single cola if done with those intentions.Beech.

all 20 are clones, there in individual pots with hydroton so oving around is definetly possible. How was your results BEECH with the 3x3' tables, and how do you get more than one main cola side braching, wich is limited to space? or topping?

it's all about the vegg IMO, watch them and let the side shoots only get about an inch long, then flower.
This wasy when the buds form they will grow into the bottom of the bud above them. Then they swell in the final days, and cause it to turn into basically one big bud. Maybe one or two will still have to be trimmed off.
Check out the PPP i'm trying this on, this should really have some more lowers off of it, but it will still do about the same thing.

yes that is basically how i want to grow, one big cola bud from internod to internod, so you saying let it veg till you get 1-4" side shoots, then flowers so bud develops in the v of the lateral branching and grows to meet up with the top bud and so forth for all the lateral branching nodes, to create one big bud? sorry if thats confusing saounds right to me :P
