these lame ducks never even mentioned this also has to do with calories also. well kind of.
British thermal unit (Btu) is a standard unit of energy that is used in the United States and sometimes in the U.K. It represents the amount of thermal energy necessary to raise the temperature of one pound of pure liquid water by one degree Fahrenheit at the temperature at which water has its greatest density (39 degrees Fahrenheit). This Energy just does not go POOF, because you took if from point A, to point B. A
Also a True chiller eats up a lot of Elect.. maybe you are not thinking a CHILLER.... NOT a cooler.. two different things.
I had to lose 15-20 degrees. I did not think you had to only lose 6 degrees. That is cool that it is working for you.
You have a radiator...in your growroom....i can honestly say I've never seen that before.
hey bud you really need to go and read through the whole thread b4 asking ??? about stuff that has already been explained. So Olds, How big is the Capacity of this system? And does it dump back into you well or do you have a tank, or what? What kind of fan do you use for the air circulation? And how long has the system been running?
Ktos, I did read the whole thing. Olds was flipping back and forth between which way he was going to build it. Drain it back into well or use the Tank. The one person had mentioned about needing a bigger pump to over come the pressure. I would think there should be very little pressure after the water leaves the radiator. And him spoke about his CHILLER. Chillers are AC units basically used to CHILL water. So he is either useing the wrong word, or not telling us about his Chiller Coils.
You see, in my line of work. I know a little bit about this subject, and not from some store owner trying to sell something.
If I was Olds, and I was not going to use a CHILLER, then I would be useing two Radiators, one picking the heat up from his room, the other dumping it out under his house where it is cool. But Hey, he only needs to remove 6 degrees. That should be simple to enough.

coulda swore he said he wa gonna use it for his hottub
ok i dont think you understand what my system is i have 55 gallon pressure holding tank that gets water pumped into it from 240 someode feet well wich is ice cold then i have a line combing off a tap under my house running underground to the rad and every time i use a tap or flush the toilet or run a washing machine it brings in more water. and the water is always flowing so by that ist always cooling the rad off and i would never need a pump. my ideas so simple i just dont understand way you cant see thatThe two radiators are not put together. One is placed at your grow room, to lower the temp of the air going into your room. The other you put under you house, where you say it is cool. So this radiator will release the heat that your system picked up while circulating. If you do not cool your system somehow, it will get just as hot as your outside temp. might not be a few hours, might not even be a few days. Dut it will. This is why I had asked how big the volume was of your system.
And this system that I showed the schematic of. It would use Zero Elect. The system would be cooled by the water you use in your hom. as you use water to take a shower, flush the toilet, do what ever, there water used flows through the turquoise collored pipe, when the new water flows into this coil it cools down the tank. which also has another coil in it that flows water to your radiator. The only elect needed is the pump to make the water move through your radiator, which you need anyone. It is a must.
