I have the same problem with mine. I tried the foam strips that are sticky on one side, that helped a little. I think thats what rasclot is talking about. Will it make that big of a difference if a little light leaks?
Home Depot, Lowes, Menard's...that type of place. They have all kinds of different shapes so you might see something that you think will work better too.i will be switching to 12/12 in a week so i have to fix it ASAP. i will try the the rubber d shaped with the hollow center if not the velcro with the plastic. Where i can find that D shaped rubber?? thank for the help ras, nick, picasso
I used mostly a dense foam weatherstripping on my cab too and I wasn't real thrilled. I think the weatherstripping with the hollow center has lots more give and it seals better. The stuff I have requires some force to keep it sealed whereas the other stuff just kind of molds to fill a gap.I use the regular "weather stripping" you can buy at Lowe's and Home Depot.
It's like $3 for one package, and 2-3 packages should be sufficient for any door.
It also comes in several sizes.
