LED's in a pc grow case?

Was looking at ways i can upgrade my pc grow box and came across this smaller led light. I was wondering if this would be much better than my 2 27w 5500k blue spectrum light for the lowryder im growing. I would be running the led light on a 24/0 light cycle also. Would this be a worthwhile investment for growing lowryders in a pc case?

Haha, I live your avatar. I got a 2 1/2 foot hookah on election day and named it Obonga. Good to know someone else is as creative as I am. Anyway, on topic, it wouldn't hurt to add the lights, but dont replace the cfls with them, use them both iat the same time. A little extra red light cant hurt when you're flowering.

I just worry about room in there, i feel like the led light would be a little too big and i dont feel like the lights i have now are going to be very helpful

The way i have it set up now i cant get 4 lights in there. Can you take any pictures and show me your setup? I think the power strip i bought was a little too small. If im lucky i could get three in there

I think you should order the biggest cfl that you can fit in the box, as long as you have good ventilation heat shouldnt be an issue. This is assuming you cant get your hands on a good hps.

Would a 50w hps be worth it? In a pre-made box on a website they have a hydro setup for 2 plants with a 50w hps in it. I wasnt sure if it was worth it because that light seems like it would be pretty small

You can buy 100w metal halides and fixtures for $35 at walmart. go to the security light section. A 50w would not make anything impressive.

My only worry then would be if it fits in my case. My setup has a powerstrip on the top on the side of the case with a socket to bulb adapter then the light. If that doesn't make sense i can take pictures. If you have seen that setup before do you think the metal halide from walmart would fit?

I always wonder why so many people dislike LED lighting so much. NASA has had fantastic results with it and several years back I followed an all LED grow thread on another pot website and the results were the most impressive I have ever seen.

I believe it comes down to several things. One because so many pot growers have smaller budgets they do not buy quality LED’s and they do not buy enough of them, and the second is they do not know how to use them properly.

I use four 300w CFL's in my grow which I purchased from HOme Depot or Lowes (can't remember, maybe too High) anyway you can get 100 wat cfl,s at walmart or target they're everywhere man
