And I want the Olsen twins, Paris Hilton and Pamela Anderson to all come over for a group romp every weekend . but it just isnt in the cards.
How do you plan to get a harvest like that, plant the south 40?
How many grow rooms will you be running and how large will they be so you can have enough plants to harvest every two weeks to get that kind of yield?
You are going to need a bunch of mother plants to take clones from and then lots of space to keep the clones while they root and then lots of vegging space for so many plants.

i found the answer while you 'geniuses' were busting my balls. look for the thread one plant produces one pound of salable marijuana. all you have to do is let the plant veg for a while. i look for a plant that will have a 6 week flower time add 2 week cure and dry time, i plant 4 for mother plants, let them get huge. i have enough bag seeds and time to play with bonsai technique. people easily get 6 oz or more. all you need is time and patience. shit dude theres threads all over the place in here. so if anybody else is wondering, if you wait long enough you can have a 2 pound (in dry weight) plant, although it will take up half of your living room. so if you let 5 clones veg for a couple of months, top and trim regulary, you can have at minimum 2 pounds of dry weight for that harvest. that means if i choose a strain that has a 6 week flower period that means i need however many mother plants in one box, lets say 5. one box to hold all of the clones i need, lets say 50, random number, maybe i want a choice. then i want one box for each harvest. since the plants will be pretty big, it might mean a little more time, or i could just let it go an extra week, the thc starts to turn into a different chemical, it actually gives more of a creeper effect, whatever, 12 boxes, one harvest each week. so whatever my final result will be, it will be less than 100 plants, and that includes half of that being in veg and not taking up all that much space especially if i work on the bonsai technique. do some research fellas. and hold on to this thread. when i actually have the space, i will be teaching you guys how to grow a multipound monster plant. all the info is there all you have to do is pull your head out of your ass and use it.

does anybody have a good recommendation as to what i should grow?
i want it dense, but not too dense
i want a plant that will no get too wide, height isnt quite as big of an issue
and i want something with a short flowering period

No one in that thread actually claims to have harvested a full # from a plant, except the last poster who claims a friend of a friend of a friend, harvests over a # all the time. Very credible, I know.
If "all you have to do is let the plant veg for a while" don't you think the average yield would be 1#-plus? Everyone let's their plants "veg for a while".

yea, its a work in progress, a simple answer with a complicated approach. people i've talked to get 2-4 oz per plant with a little bit of technique. and they always say they just let it veg for 4 weeks or so. well, let it go for another 4 weeks, top and prune, and just let more branches grow, there will end up being more budding sites, then why not, let it go another four weeks, as long as its in a big enough pot, it has to grow. ever look up bonsai? pretty interesting. twice the yeild off your same size plant if you do it right. id say its not that hard to get about 8 oz off one plant, you just have to know what ur doing. and besides, lowryder produces a lot less than normal strains, and thats still 1 1/2 oz per plant, which give me 22 plants for my 2 lbs, and every week for 8 weeks thats 176 plants at the very most, and in that case its about 400 sq ft. id say a 30 x 20 room can do the trick. and im pretty sure i can grow a plant twice the size with more than twice the bud which is less than 90 plants plus the mothers. and the idea of each plant or each harvest to its own box is depending on the height of the plant i can stack the boxes to save space. true i have not grown before, but i do have the know-how will eventually have the space to do top notch

yea you dont need to tell us you havent grown before. its obvious. and yea your correct that letting a plant veg for a long time will in time produce a lot of bud. but your gonna need to be outside to be able to get that kind of growth. why doesnt everybody aim for what your doing? because its more efficient and effective to do a SOG and/or a rotation method. these 'boxes' that you speak of better be at least 10x10x10 to get what you want. and are you going to stack the boxes with a fork lift? learn from the experts who have done this already. take this fuckin barn that you have and turn it into 1 giant Sea Of Green. use the loft as the mother/veg chamber. good luck newb!
