Just something I was thinking. I was originally thinking an aeroponic tube set up with 6 plants in a single cola SOG...but now no.
Now I think I would rather fill my 4 sq.ft. with 2 plants in a SCROG. However, not sure what grow medium/method to use. If I still build a 2 plant aeroponic system using a 6in PVC tube, the result would be...????
I am thinking all that will happen is when vegging the plants to fill the screen, instead of having to do it for 3 weeks or whatever, the aeroponics should fill the screen faster as a result of the fast growth rate it provides. So you should be able to fill the screen say in a 1.5-2 weeks...???
Does that sound right?
Here is the big question. PUMP SIZE?
If I have a 6in PVC Tube that is 22" long with 2 3.75" plant sites. I place a 180 degree mister on each end and a 360 degree mister in the middle. Probably will use a direct return to the resevior draining setup. The resevior is 7 gallons, and the the distance the water must be pumped vetically is about 18-20in. So can anyone help me figure out what size pump would be need to create enough pressure in the lines to cause a fine mist. Assume I am using 3/4" outlet with an in-line filter some where in the mix to make sure my spayer heads don't clog.....as often..lol. Anyway....
