anyone try these? i was thinking about giving two of them a go for just one plant.
yea man i had to ditch those lights return them if u can and get a bunch of CFLsThey're incandescent. So, not good for growing. If you're talking about the ones with the blue coating, 75 watt, read the package, it says it makes plants LOOK greener, because it has a blue coating.Wrong spectrum, too hot. Try cfl's.
no doubt even though i didnt get one i had to learn da hard way but i got me sum CFls and checc it outPicsDamn, I wish I still had the packaging, I'd return the bulbs I bought if I could.
Oh well, you live and learn, thanks for the reply though.

yea homedepot and lowes the have 27 watts and i believe they have 45 watts too jus get a few of those and u shud be good *remember 6500k for veg and 2700k for flower ) you can mix but its good to have more of the rite oneAre there any major retail stores that sells the necessary bulbs needed in order to grow? Again, this is my first time growing, and I'm only looking to get 1 or 2 small, but good sized plants. I'm a little frustrated, simply because I messed up when it came to getting the proper lights. Anyway, is there someplace I can go to get these lights, or am I going to have to purchase them via the net?
Thanks a lot man...thankfully I have more seeds germinating, so I'm not totally screwed, how many should I get, of each, since I'm only shooting for a few plants?yea homedepot and lowes the have 27 watts and i believe they have 45 watts too jus get a few of those and u shud be good *remember 6500k for veg and 2700k for flower ) you can mix but its good to have more of the rite one

2700K Bulbs: (Still trying to find)
So, would it be a good idea I bought 2 of the 65 watt bulbs and 2 of the 2 pack 23 watt (2700K) bulbs and just focused on growing 1 or 2 plants? (Since I'm growing indoor, I'm not worried about fucking up, I've got plenty of seeds, and can grow year round)yea but those are only 20 watts u have to look at watts used not the equivelent try these
