And neither have we 'proved' that males can be produced from 'feminised' seeds. You think it can be done, I've never agreed.

well, babygro may not be totally of with the statement that the quality of fem seeds depends on the stability of the parent generation. so if the parent generation isn't stabilized first the plant that is pushed into hermie state isn't producing quality seeds but further hermie seeds only.

and i guess that is what is going on with the breeders which produce the seeds, they looking at the money and don't focus on the quality anymore. we shouldn't forget that this business is dominated by dutch sales people and they act this way, great with money in terms of quietly generating money but shitty often with the product itself. or why so much sanded weed is on the european market right now... another example for the type of work those people get rich off: *FUCKIN YOU IN THE BUD*

Greenhouse seeds would not be particularly high on my list of seed breeders to buy seeds from.

Arjan, the 'self styled King of Cannabis' is dishonest, has screwed over his fellow seed breeders more than once and only cares about the money. He's a marketing wiz, and cares little for the quality of his product.

He's still winning cups, mostly on the back of what Shantibaba and Neville did for him. His breeders 'supposedly' produced the very first Super Silver Haze, Hybrid, odd don't you think that Shantibabas is reckoned to be the better version, particularly as Neville donated the original clone cuttings Shantibaba used to create Super Silver Haze whilst working at Greenhouse, to him when he left and formed Mr Nice with Howard Marks.

That's why Mr Nice's Super Silver Haze is better than Arjans, despite the Greenhouse version coming out first.

Mr.nice is better they have the 2 real kings of cannibis i agree but greenhouse still has quality seeds. i dont want to start arguing about this because i dont want to change the point of this thread cuz i am very interested and think i may try it on my next grow.

Doesn't seem to stop you and many others commenting on how rubbish CFL's are at growing when you don't have any direct experience of having grown anything through to harvest with them.

So why are you accusing me, of doing exactly the same as you and thousands of others do on here every single day?

Of course this is from my own personal experience's. I actually dont care if other people use them, its just not for me. I'll stick to HID lighting, as this works better for me.

And the reason you threw them in the corner, is because you're too fucking stupid to figure out how to use them properly, just like the rest of the jerk offs on here who rubbish them at every opportunity.

Strange how some people get extremely good results with them, whilst others give up and switch to HID's because they're easy to get good results with - you don't have to think about what you're doing.

^^ could you both beat it now maybe, it is possible to grow with CFLs but the harvest won't be equal to the one you get with HPS, and a HPS gets you more lumen per watt, and the watts are the money you put into a grow. based on this a HPS grow is more efficient.

And depending on which CFL's you use and which HPS bulbs you use, watt for watt CFL's can output anything up to double the amount of plant useable light that HPS's output at almost half the cost.

It's not. It can cost up to twice the amount of electricity to produce up to half the amount of plant useable light with HPS's.

Where HIDs do well generally is the sheer number of lumens they output which can be way in excess of any CFL, it's just a shame 60-80% of that light is not used by the plants.
