i'm bored and want to play a pc game. i started playing civ city but i really can't be bother to take charge of Rome today, too much work.

anyone know of any good "gangsta" games?

i want action but also strategy. one that also requires a little bit of thought.

any suggestions?

gears of war for pc... is allways fun blasting them to pieces and doing some tactic moves.... on pc i am god in gears of war.... i realy hate gamepads to play fps.

i have all those that you suggested, on my xbox 360 though. which unfortunately, i don't have at the moment.

damn, i could go for some gears of war right now.

F.E.A.R is awesome, but scary as hell. haven't touched it since me and some buddies spent half the night playing it. freaky stuff....

it's older, but the game play is good enough to keep playing.

well worth $6.

If you want a cheap shooter look for any of the newer 'swat' games.
I really like how true to life swat scenario this game offers.(it's almost a simulator shooter)

Total wars new "Empire" game has recently been released, it has the management side of things, but also the wading in with your armies side of things.

I might be bias though as i like the strategy games more than hack an slash.

Oh and a demo is available for it via stream.

I'm picking it up day. i'm soooo excited.

I still say the best strategy game ever would be a combination of civ and total war. Like the vast time span of civ with the complexity of war like total war.

I completely agree there has not been a good civil war game since North and South decades ago.
