oh, back to the question. i use a piece of wire to scrape it out of the popcorn bowl. then stuff it in a vial and heat the wire until it drips off.

when my trim exploded however - i did not get tarred and featherd. i was easily able to filter out my hash oil made with panty hose to get the matter out, the rest of the trim flew out frozen - it looked as iff the grass had be cut and blown in that direction, nothing more, wasnt too bad.

Clean a mirror real good. After it is dry take some of your "right butane" and spray it on the clean spot and let it dry.
Now you have seen with your own eyes what it is that you are putting into your lungs and this doesn't include the byproducts that are created by the butane during the process.
It's your lungs, do with them as you see fit.
The more I know the more I realize how much I don't know. That's why Google, patience and an open mind are my best friends.

funny, that's exactly what i did. found some VERY clean butane. how much by-product is actually left? and doesn't it burn away? like butane does? you fill your lighter with it. i'm confused. :confused::confused::confused::confused:

Once you have obtained the butane, you need a pipe that measures 1.5 to 2.0 inches in diameter, is 16 to 24 inch long and is made from either polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE). Basically, the bigger the pipe, the more bud it can hold. Do not use PVC piping because it can be a health hazard. Either PP or PE piping works best and can be found in any good DIY store. Each end of the pipe will need a cap. You should be able to get some PP or PE caps at a home improvement store or someone can make them for you. If you cannot find any suitable caps, you can try using large bottle caps and 'blue tack’ to hold them in place.

this method is more pure but will yeild less oil than the blender rubbing alcohol methond right?

also will the rubbing alchohol leave any harful residues in your oil?

Yes, rubbing alcohol (iso) does leave many impurities behind most of those in the iso itself, but so does the butane. Use only grain alcohol (everclear) to evaporate out the impurities left behind. It has the added benefit of making the oil pour into vials.

It's a jungle of ignorance out there. Play safe!

It is a jungle of miss, or miss understood information. We just have go buy a fifth of ever clear 151, and shove the buds inside? Come on, Show us. inlighten us? I want,, no I really need to know. because I have always shidded away from this butane trick because of the impurities. So show me Obe-won-ka-kno-be
