THE PANDA AERO SYSTEM fom general hydroponics

Does anyone know anything about this product?
http://www.growell.co.uk

Still not sure if i should give it ago so if anyone has or has used one i'd love to hear how they got on

This is what growell has to say about it

modular aeroponics

The Panda Aero System from General Hydroponics is an innovative new growing system that allows you to grow up to 80 small or 8 large plants aeroponically. Looking very similar to a Wilma Drip System, the Panda goes a little further in terms of it's attention to detail. For example, the reservoir tank is white on the outside to reflect heat away from your nutrients and black on the inside to make sure no light gets in - just the kind of attention to detail that shows this system has been designed by expert growers.

Working on a modular basis, the Panda system has 8 separate aeroponic chambers. each housing up to 5 net pots and each irrigated by two aeroponic spray nozzles. All of the fittings are top quality and both the build and design are impeccable. All in all, a very interesting new system that is sure to be a hit.

LET ME KNOW WHAT YA THINK

THANKS PEACE

I haven't tried it myself but it is the system that I'm seriously considering so any information would be helpful!

That would be quite a SOG garden. The spacing is very tight. I'd consider running one plant in each chamber.

You realize that the footprint of this system is pretty small - like 2' x 3'? Not sure what you're looking for, but it may work well for a SCROG system.

I personally hate running systems with external tubing around the canopy.

The 40 gallon panda res is definitely overkill. This will make maintenance in this system very easy.

What kind of output are you looking for?

I'm personally looking to get as much out of it as possible. I had somebody measure it down at the shop and the system size came to 113 x 84 x 53 cm which fits into my grow room quite well though I would have preferred having it a little smaller height-wise.

One thing that I would love to know is how much can you expect from an aeroponics grow per plant?

My next question is that I'm looking at a strain that generally grows to 90cm but I will only have around 70cm left to play with if I'm using this system, would I be okay training/bending/topping the plants to keep them within my limits?

you can easily lollypop and aim for like 7-10 grams dried per clone, for that spacing checkout the aquamist i believe they are like 2x4 and u can do 100 plants per unit

Having a load of little plants isn't really something that we're willing to do, we'd rather keep it to a few larger plants.

It seems like a screen of green would suit you well.
What lighting are you going to use?

isn't that the mini-plant SOG video? OP stated they'd like to keep plant count low.

I have noticed many users on this site are very interested in the Aquamist 1 system, but are simply turned off by the price tag. Well I may have a solutition for you. I have some great contacts in the wholesale industry which has given me the ability to duplicate the system. The system I can produce is 2x6 which is 50 larger than the aquamist system. The components are equal or greater in quality, and the price tag is the same! Just thought I would make the offer and see if it helps. Let me know if its something you are interested in. I would be glad to help you save some money.
