Please help with soil...??

Alright, I am growing 1 LowLife FEM Auto AK and I'm in a pickle. I have no soil(dirt) but I did have this stuff..http://www.gardenharvestsupply.com/product/espoma-plant-tone-5-3-3-organic-plant-food-5lb-bag. So what I did was put maybe 25%-30% of perlite and the rest of that plant feed stuff in a 8" pot. Will my plant grow OK?? Remeber it's an autoflowering plant.

**About a month ago I started a grow with the same medium but diferent seed and it sprouted. I had it going for 2 weeks but I had to pull it for security reasons.

You definately need to mix with soil. That is plant food designed to be mixed with soil.

You need soil... basic potting soil ($2- if your in a pinch, take out of backyard..etc... if you can't get or afford proper supplies add some sand (to soil)/small pebbles (in bottom of pot for drainage)... My whole outside 4-6 grow soils cost $6...25L promix...and 2 x 25L soil..... approx.. $10..

3.5 is a lot of soil.. 25L is about 0.5-1 cube ft
so it works out to be almost the same..................

welli use 19 gallon pots indors and a 3ft by 3 1/2ft hole outdoors

yea i use promix this stuff is great. My first grow i used MG and i can honestly say promix is outstanding. MG made it hard for me to control nutes. ILL stick with the more expensive stuff

I went outside and looked around my yard and found some soil. It crumbles when I squeeze it, that's good, right? I also found some soil at my local supermarket, so I will try that and see what happens. I will post updates of the AUTO AK when it sprouts! thanks guys

What size of a pot would you need for a plant like that? autoflowering lowryder? could you do it in a milk carton?

You'll get less than a gallon of soil in a milk carton, you should have at least 1 gallon of soil per foot of plant height.

i use 5 gallon buckets and i mix 1/4th perlite
1/4th vermaculite
1/4th sphagnom pete moss and 1/4th seedling starter soil (no nutes)
i mix it all up and it works f-ing awsome.

go out and buy a bail of pro-mix (you can find it at hydroponics shops or your local home and gardencenter) its a soilless mixture that auto regulates the ph level so all you gotta do is pour some tap water , mix your nutes and your good to go.

no shit. i just bought a gigantic thing of pro mix yesterday and i bought a big bag of worm castings to add to it....i mixed it all up and put all my girls into 2.5 gallon bags. i cant wait to see how it works. i figured why bother mixxing shit up myself when the pro mix had everything i was using anyway.....if they are only seedlings in the promix they only need water right? no nutes yet? the last soil i was mixxing myself was miracle grow so it had nutes in it allready. so how long should i wait before i hit em with the fox farm grow big and tiger bloom?
