Problems With Nirvana Site

A couple of days ago I got an email from Nivana saying that my payment had not went through, eventhough I recieved my seeds about a month ago. The payment didnt go through because I called the credit card company and cancelled payment because the charge showed up as another website and at the time I didnt know they made their charges to another site. So the money was refunded to my cc and was never resent to Nirvana. Now they want their money.

Ok now to the actual problem. I go to the site a couple days ago when I got the email and it said the site is currently down for maintenance. Currently when I log in from my home computer it still says the site is down. But ealier when I was at work I went to the site and it went straight to the home page. Now Im home and it still says its down.

Any ideas?

i recently emailed them as well on a seed dispute through Attitude seed bank, although i never got the "site is currently down for maintenance" i still have yet to get a reply from them. i get that message all the time on sites and if it shows up i just refresh the page. but if its really down it shouldnt b too long usually site maintenance only takes 24 hours or less.

Thats what I thought about the maintenance. Normally its only for a couple hours. I almost think they blocked my IP so I cant pay. So they can "prosecute" me as they say in their rude email.

question. are you located in the states? if you are they cant prosecute you as THEY illegaly shipped something illegal to you, knowing the laws of the land inwhich you live. am i right or blowin smoke out my a$$? lol

My exact thoughts. But who knows. Theres always a friggin loop hole somewhere. Especially since they charged and shipped under the company name of thisipod.com. They would prolly say some crap like they sent me an ipod cover and then retracted the payment.

Dont exactly want to get in a piddly legal battle over some $40 seeds as well. And I also would like to order some more seeds from them.

sounds about right to me.. i say if they blocked your IP then fuck them, you got some free seeds. I would send them an email letting them know you are willing to send them their money, If you dont get a response then they most not be that worried about the money. And go find yourself another seedbank to order from. I like attitude!

LMAO trust me it would cost them more to try to get you in court its not worth it to them trust me 40 bucks come on now..I say the WORST case is you get a collection agency calling you and I doubt that very much. You all worry too much!

They could do that and they could even just have given your computer a cookie and that tells their server to give you the we’re down message. Try clearing all cookies and see if it works. If not then you may actually be blocked.


But they will threaten to rat you out to local LEO in a heartbeat. I have heard that complaint MANY, MANY times about Nirvana over the years and is part of why I never deal with them. I figure if there is just some error made it could be enough to get them upset and rat me out and it is just not worth the headaches and possible loss of money on an order and especially not worth the possible trouble with LEO when there are so many other places to purchase from, even to get their beans, so I always use other places.

Well you know the right thing to do so just do it. Send them the money for the seeds. If you didn't cancel that order and they sent them in error before making sure your money was there then it's their fault...but since you cancelled your cc because you thought it was a mistake.... your fault. It's up to you what you do but you know the right thing to do.

i would just not even bother with them. i dont think they can send it to collections as the "ipod" company they put on statements is its just a front, in order for them to send to collections they have to go in depth and explain what they sent u, how, why they didnt recieve thier payment. etc. they most likely wont bother.

A web site can not give you computer a cookie, they just save your ISP #, so that when you view the site again the server recognizes it and automatically redirects you and gives you the message. its the same process as when you open your browser and it automatically logs you into a site if ou have cookies enabled. BUT! yes good idea on clearing cookies, make sure u dont forget to delete cookies from add-on's as well. then try restarting your computer and well see if it works. if that doesnt try using a different computer at a different adress. or if u have a laptop, sign on to a different router as the proxy, and isp will change. (make sure cookies are not enables if you do choose to use a diff router so the settings dont transfer when logging onto the router.

Well I sent them a support ticket and an email. If they dont give me another method, instead of calling my bank and tell them to transfer to nirvans bank, Im just not even going to mess with it. I do know that I ower them money for my seeds. But their going about it in the wrong way. In this email it almost seems like their trying to strong-arm me through the web.

After really thinking about it I highly doubt they would take the chance to lose their business and be sentenced to US jail for every US order shipped over $40. But like I said if they give me another option to pay I have no problem doing it. Just when all this originally occured I thought my CC info had been stolen. So immediately I called the CC company and told them about a charge from a foreign country at a website I had never visited. After contacting nirvana they told me about the front so I called my CC back and told them to cancel the payment cancellation. Not my fault the bank went ahead and cancelled it. Even more not my fault that nirvana shipped the damn seeds with a cancelled payment. The payment was cancelled before my order had left them, according to their tracking.

But its whatever. The seeds I did get burnt up before they even sprouted and I dont think Ill be buying from them anymore. I like what attitude has to offer so I think Im going to try some autoflowering seeds from them. Working in a 4' 6" tall space with 150w hps so I need something that doesnt get very tall at all. Anyone have any recommendations on autoflowering plants that would work good in this space?

Yah i will never order Nirvana's strains again. i had recently ordered from them and the seeds were shit, half of them were premature, and most didnt sprout, and i have used the paer towel method on HUNDREDS of seeds with great success.. even the bagseed i used as a cotrol and they BLEW nirvana's seeds away. ill stick with my favorite company Dutch passion from now on.. but yes i will deff order THROUGH attitude as they did thier part, and are an amazing company :)

LOL... i wish !!! Nah just been ripped to many times ! - i know plenty of people that deal with these guys and never have a problem! a friend had an order caught by customs and dave resent the whole order !!!

Just trusting i suppose...more than i can say for the rest !
