My hps? I dunno between 12-18 inches. I move it up before I take pics. I have those reflector hangers. They are fantastic. Raise and lower my lights and fans with ease.

Day 24 of 12/12
Big plants still growing. Biggest is now 16.5 inches. They love the bloom nutes. Giving them 1/4th strength and thinking next feeding will bum up to 1/2 strength. Still undecided.
I am 3 for 3 on cloning so far. I had 4 cuttings I put in soil and 3 so far are fully rooting. 7 days or less. Freaking sweet.
I have my mothers and next harvest. Will veg these 3 clones 3-4 weeks take 2 cuttings from each and put them in flower.

Man are they growing. Another inch of stretch last night. And to think I was worried they would barely reach 12 inches tall. I now expect them to cl;ear 2 feet easily. Very happy for only 12 days of veg.
Red cups looking great. I expect the first signs of sex to show up in the next few days. Seems 21 days is the point in which they sex.
Clones still look un changed. The 3 soil cvlones all have good roots so expect them to take of growing again by the 2 week mark. The 4th soil cutting i removed and pout in a cup of water as a test. It rotted so I removed it. No signs of roots on the other 2 water cvuttings. I believe cut dip soil will be my cloning method of choice. 3/4 with roots in under 7 days. Can't complain.
Got my new veg/clone tent. Will post pics once its put together.

man i have never had a clone take root, what kind of cloning hormone u use? and how often do you actually water it, or just mist with sprayer?

I used some powder I bought at lowes.
I cut the cuttings and put them in a tub of phed water. 6.5 ph. I than remove the first nodes leaves and cut at 45 degree angle. All while under the water. I than scrape the stem from the first node to the 45 degree angle cut with a razor really eaisly.
I than dip the cutting in the powder and place in a 16 oz cup of moist soil. I mist the cuttings and cover them with a sandwich baggie as a personal humidity dome.
I put them under 24/0 cfl light. Temps bertween 70-80 with a very warm heat mat. Medium and root temp are so important. Its key in germinating and cloning. i can germinate a seed in under 24 hrs and some as lil as 12 hrs. With a good heat mat.
Than I just mist a couple times a day and keep the soil moist which is not hard. I have not really watered yet. My cuttings are very droopy and poor looking but there is new growth starting and they have very nice roots started. I easily remove the cutting from the soil to check the roots. Next clones I will not as I know this method now works really well.
Its all about environment man. And a warm rooting area provided by a heat mat.

Droopy leaves and yellowing. On the positive side they look to be growing new growth from the top. So they look like they are growing. Very slowly.

Big 4 doing really great. The big one only grew a half inch last night. Not sure if its slowing its growth or if the growth is so sporadic. Like a inch or 2 one night and a half inch or less another. Who knows. time will tell. Either way they look very healthy and happy.
Plants in red cups really starting to grow. Soon the tent will be very full. No signs of sex yet. Here is to getting some more females.
Clones still look like crap but roots are still growing. I still expect them to look night and day this time next week. We will see though.
Now some bad news. I have some bugs in my soil I think they are thrips larvae. Last night I sprayed goGnats(cedar oil and like soap) on the sirface of the soil. I only saw the bugs in the top 2 inches in plants with dry soil and the red cups. Looked today and saw only a couple bugs in 2 plants. Applied more gognats. I mixed a 1.7oz to 1 gallon water soulution and spraye dit on the soil. Hope this helps the issue. So far so good.

Red cups still have not shown sex. Might be a good sign. They are growing fast and want them to show sex before I transplant. But not big rush either. I am sure the cups will be fine for the time being.
The big four are looking great. The biggest is now 20 inches. Another solid inch of growth over night. The buds are frosting up nice. They are so lovely looking.

The clones are starting to grow. New growth is breaking out. Put in some reflectors for the cfls so we can have some decent lighting. Added some cfls. We now have 6 26w daylight cfls. The 2 cuttings just cut an dplaced in water are now rooting. I moved 1 to soil. Will wait a day or so for the second. I hope they make it. That gives me 5 of 6 and the 6th one I killed with my own actgions I believe. Very happy with the cloning.

Today I found out the big one is a hermie. I was checking for insects before watering when I found 1 bundle of pollen sacs. Now sure if i opened it or what but one was open. I had white powder all over my hand. It was on one of the lowest branches and covered by a leaf. So I removed the lower half fan leaves so I can watch the branches. Not sure how much longer I will let it grow. At this point I made the mistake of leaving it in there and will have to ride it out. I guess I will have some seeds. Hope its not to bad.
Rest of the plants doing well. Fed the red cups some grow big at 1/4th strength. Once again no further signs of insects. Very happy with the go gnats.

Good news one of the big ones in the red cups showed sex. Female. So I have another female after my lats 2 were male and my big one turned hermie. Made my day. The red cups look good. They took the 1/4th strength feeding well.
The big ones look good. Buds frosting up and they are starting to really smell. If i tough a bud oh man does my hand reek. I freaking love it.
2 of the big ones got bloom nutes today. Bumped them up to 1/2 strength now that buds are going. Lets see what these girls can do

lookin nice, sucks about the hermi..i just found out my orange bud was a hermi and is full of seed sites, and not only that but my G13 is showing seeeds now too. i hope your hermi dosent try to lay the move on one of your girls

Another interesting update. I found another open pollen sac on the big hermie. It was just one sac growing with a bud on a lower branch. So I chopped off all the side branches and fan leaves. I am giving the main cola some time to crystal up like the a couple others a lil further along and than its chopped. I think I can get a 8th of decent smoke. Very upset. Hope seeds are at a minimum but its not looking good. Oh well more seeds for the future. So I will speak very lil of the big girl from here on out.
The other big ones looking good. The 2 I fed 1.2 strength bloom nutes yesterday Look great. Buds still growing and the plants look healthy and happy.
The plants in the red cups have taken off. The veg nutes have really caused them to explode in growth. N o new ones showed sex yet but I am sure it will not be soon.
Because of the grow big and how the seedlings took off I have decided * days since rooting is long enough and the clones got a 1/4 strength feeding of grow big. The clones are already starting to take off in growth and hope this grow big kicks them into overdrive like the seedlings.

Another of the red cups has shown sex and its female. That makes 2 females in a row now and 6 total in the bloom tent. Both females have been transferred to 1 gallon bags. I have decided to go with the 1 gallons cause it will allow me to get 6-9 plants in my tent under the hps and work perfect for the perpetual grow.
Tent is now getting full. All the plants look healthy and enjoying the fox farms.
Clones look great and new growth breaking out on top and at the nodes. n ot much to report other than the new female addition to the tent.
I am germing 4 more seeds to add some plants to the veg tent now that the 3 clones are taking off. Want to get a forest in my lil veg tent. Itys all coming together now.

Another red cup showed sex and it looks female. Will wait and make sure. Its also the biggest which has me concerned of hermie since my last monster hermied. Oh well for right now its another female.
I will transplant this new female next watering. Big tent getting crowded. I love it.
I cracked 3 seeds from another strain and put those in the veg tent. I have 1 more seed germinating and brings my veg tent number to 6 plants right now.
Clones taking off. New growth is dark green and very good looking. Very happy with how the clones are doing. Was worried for a day or 2 but now feel I have cloning down and its key to my perpetual to be able to clone with high success rate.
