How long to vegatate for maximum yield?

Hey, i was wondering how long is perfect for vegatation state for maximum yield as i have a 2m high tent????

Expect your plants to at least double in size during the stretch seen in the flowering stage. I'd say about 2 feet before flipping them. Depends on your lighting setup (how far from the top of the tent does it hang) and how close plants can get to your lights

Depends wich strain. Are you training your plants? Topping, lst, etc? What kind of lighting? From what I've seen plants at least double in size during flower. Make sure you have plenty of room. You don't want to overcrowd your plants.

nine months is best. or how ever long you can. bigger plant = bigger buds

Big plant does not equal bigger buds. Some would argue that by controlling stretch in the veg stage you can increase bud size with smaller plants. Judging by that extremely stretched plant with little popcorn buds in your avatar you might be able to take this advice and but it to work.

bigger and busher the plant the more bud sites. not necessarily bigger buds:bigjoint:

Sweet man thats cool, sorry if you took it the wrong way.

regarding Mygirls comment:
What i meant is perceived buds i guess. People call the cola a bud when in reality it is many buds with very close budding sites and nodes.

i know it really depends on strain but overall what do you think the ideal height is for say a plant 50/50 or maybe a little more indica dominate?:leaf:

grow the plant take enough cuttings to fill the room 1 cutting every 6" or 4 per sq foot untill the room is full of plants> root the cuttings once you see the roots grow hit 12/12 that method of growing will yeild more than a gram per watt even with a shit strain that does not yeild very well.

i will be using a 1.2m by 2.4 wide grow tent with 2 600w hps from the top of the tent, do i top a plant in the veg state???????

and also do you suggest growing 1 plant to begin with and take alot of cuttings and then use them to start off my weed garden?

the more streached out the plant the further apart the bud sites so you won't get those big donky dick colas.:weed:

so how high or how many weeks do you recommend veg state before you flower???

also does this depend on the strain your trying to grow? cheers

it starts with the size and hight of your grow area. then you figure out pot size and how long to veg for. good luck. oh and strains does matter, some grow slower then others.

mmmm im thinking blue cheese as my first grow in a dwc bucket, maybe 6 in a bucket and then move them to a dwc pot each, i have a 2m high tent so maybe let them veg till theyre about 3-4feet high???
was thinking of growing 8 for my first go at it.

does that sound ok?

yes but just make sure with your light hight you have enough hight for your p[lant to grow. a 3ft or 4 ft tallplant wellend up beiing 6ft plus.
