AeroGarden Guide/FAQ v 2.0

definitely use the lights for their specific stages. Its suppose to generate denser buds that way.

Haven't heard that.

But using one spectrum can't really be that good.

You are trying to stimulate the light from the sun growing indoors, which is more than one single light frequency that any one bulb can give.

Hence why the UFO lights have 3 spectrums, white, red, blue.

If he has the fixtures for them there is no reason why he shouldn't mount them.

He can get a full spectrum versus a half spectrum...

LOL! Hell yea that's whats up. But yea definitely use the lights for their specific stages. Its suppose to generate denser buds that way. I just ordered both spectrums too a couple days ago. Cant wait for them shits to come in.

im going to experiment with a few grows to test the siingle spectrum theory, may take a while tho, but ill get back to u guys

Hmmm.... Not necessarily. The intensity of the sun's individual spectrums varies from season to season. You don't wanna confuse the plant into thinkin its one season when its not. Besides that, the guy at the hydroponics store was pretty avid about which light to use and when. But hey, they're your kids. Raise him how you wanna.

If color temp changed the seasons then why would you even need to change lighting cycles.

The light cycles don't change at random, its a pattern, that's why you need to plant outdoors in a certain month.

The color temp just stimulates specific types of growth.

Hell yea, that's what I was gettin at. I know the 12/12 light cycle is what gets it buddin. I mean, no shit that's common sense. But the the color temp does stimulate specific types of growth.

Anytime..

it will always go back up to 7.6 + in a matter of couple hours..

Thing is, the PH change only when the water is IN the aerogarden res... I dont get it..
So im pretty sure it would do the same thing with bottled water.
/sigh

aww seems like I have root rot...(Roots are brown, seems slimy a bit too..) might be the reason why the PH goes up like crazy..
Im just gonna kill theses, and start again.
..Gotta learn !
What could been wrong?
Im gonna buy some water this time. No more city water.
