i just got my seed in today if anyone has used any of this plz send me a tell of how long your your Veg was
germ-1 week no nutes
1-2 weeks 200ppm
2-4 weeks 400-600ppm (depending on how the plant reacts)
12/12 week 0-2 50/50 veg/flower nutes at 800ppm
2-4 weeks flower 1000-1200
4-7 weeks flower 1500+ if plant will take it!
7-9 flush (if Indica. if Sativa you still have some time for full nutes!)
Accuracy. Larger set of numbers means you can fine tune better.... I'm not actually sure why PPM exists, it serves no purpose over EC / CF that I know of or can figure out haha
I suppose ... But to get the nute levels that accurate you'd be adding like .25 ml per litre of water to fine tune it anyway lol ... My data pen thing has two PPM (500/700), EC and CF, they're all side by side comparable so the PPM is in no way more accurate than the EC or CF reading ... But I suppose if you had a digital display on your EC pen it would be useful to read it in PPM? ... But practicality wise, you only want the pen for a rough guide really, backup if you will, the rest you should be able to (or learn to) tell by looking at your plants and listening to what they tell you they need more or less of!Accuracy. Larger set of numbers means you can fine tune better.
For example you may want a PPM between 600-700 (with a CF 0.7). If you were using EC your number set would be between 0.85-1.0, 15 possible data points if you have a "typical" pen. Now with the same pen you have 100 possible data points when using the PPM scale.
