indoor "compared" to outdoor.

weird stuff here............................

i started these 2 plants from the same mother at the same time. one was put outside during mid spring the other was left inside. the one inside was under floros so it's veg growth was slower. i put the one inside into flower under a 600w HPS about the same time the outside one started to flower. after about 3 weeks the indoor room was shut down and the plant was placed outside next to her twin sister. the indoor plant had spidermites so it's growth was hindered for several weeks. the problem has since been cleared. so now they have both been outside flowering for about 6 - 7 weeks now, maybe more.

I cant really grow outside... my neighbrs live literaly 2 feet away from my garden... and he was looking at it all day everyday... so I put it in a pot and it died.:(

killer outdoor plant. but if the indoor had been allowed to veg under 10,000 lumens for as long as the outdoor one was, it might be a little better comparison.

i am lucky as my garden isnt overlooked and is very big and private. the only issue was the smell. i was paranoid that they would know what i was doing :p

i am sure you are correct.

i am very interested in a few things. particularly bud structure. they seem completely different.

the smaller one turned purple from the cold but the bigger one didn't. i put the smaller one outside when the temps were in the 100's. i would have thought it would have adjusted to accept the cold by now. apparently not.:-|

are they not receptors reaching out for pollen, all the stuff in the air has them horny and wanting.i was reading some were that a plant has a differant reaction certian times of years from the chemicals other plants are giveing off,and whether they are outside or in.

i found last year when i grew my big bud outdoors feeding exactly the same nuts, the big bud grown indoors the buds where much denser then the outdoor.:weed:

why is that? why are they so different?:confused:

makes me wonder. :-|
Because no matter how hard us humans try, we can never re- create the sun.

Nothing is better than the original.

Very Cool observational experiment though. I hope you do more of this because it is very interesting.

One way to look at it is we have just VERY recently started to grow plants indoors with artificial light (another incredibly new invention). Weed has been designed for the sun as all plants have. There are no short cuts in nature. None that last anyways. You can't replace the sun's spectral goodness with a light bulb.

If weed was legalized, only people in the extreme north and south lat's would continue to use them. Everyone else would start growing outside. This isn't Mars.

I for one would continue wanting decent bud all year round. So I'd continue growing in a controlled environment indoors.
