I've been growing forever but am seeing something new to me. The pics are of a fan leaf off a 3-4 week old Himalayan Gold, taken by clone from one now flowering.
I've been using MiracleGro mositure control soil for the last couple of years.
Due to the winter this town ran out, but I did manage to find some that had thoroughly dried out, which I'm on the last bag of.
Besides this leaf damage (pics) I'm also seeing signs of mag deficiency in a batch of clones I took the other night (lighter leave edges). I'm cloning this batch into the same soil.
Do y'all think these issues could be related to "dead" soil?
I haven't fed the Himalayan at all, relying on the MG nutes in the soil. There were only two leaves like pictured, but it seems to be spreading upward.
I have looked for thrips, etc. nothing.
I figure if one of you has seen this, and fixed it, then there's no mistaking whatever it is, cuz' the pics are decent?
What d'ya think?
Note the raised ridges on pic one.
