Well you normally just wait until there is about 5 total, never heard of True Nodes or anything like that

I think it might be the nodes not counting secondary ones that split out of the original ones. So if you had a node that split off another one you only count that as one true node, even though it has another one(2) sprouted out of it.

I got a question, when flowering, should I be giving the plant less nitrogen than in veg mode?

when I first started the grow I used the stock nutes.
I believe the AG tomato stock nutes were around 5-19-21

Now I'm using MG tomato food which is at 18-18-21

Is anybody having any problems with their pH slowly raising throughout the week? I'm gettin kinda tired of dumpin this dam water. It goes too high to safely use a pH down. The water I use is distilled and is perfect when I put it in there. I'm using half dosages of BC nutes and 2 5inch air stones. I wonder if its the air stones? But shit they're for fish tanks, you'd think they'd be safe. Any Ideas?
Not the airstones causing your problems. It's because the AG tank only holds 1 gal so ANY slight change will greatly affect your pH levels. The pH fluctuates as plants eat & expell waste. This is normal. As long as your pH is between 5.5 - 6.5, you should be okay. Don't keep adjusting it unles it goes outside that range. Frequent pH changes are bad, as the plants don't tollerate it well.

I randomly spray my plant with fresh water... should I not be doing that?? I haven't had any issue but I'm curious if anyones heard anything negative about it...

people usually mist before the lights turn off, you dont want to heat up the water thats sitting on the plant

hell yea, definitely appreciate that! Thankfully its been level since the last flush or the res. By any chance do you know at what stage of the plant to switch to the bloom nutes? (if using a 3 part fert) Is it when you switch the light cycle or at first sight of a bud? anybody?
