When is it time to top

I am back for another question or 3

My female M39 is now 26 inches high with strong side branch growth. it is just starting to flower.

should I top it off now or can I wait ?

I still have it on a 16/8 (8 hrs sleep)

I would prefer the plant to grow a bit more (should I let it?)

It grows in the sun from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm, then to a growing "closet" until 11pm, then it's no light whatsoever for 8hrs (give or take 30 mins)

Oh, and for those who helped me with the cloning, "Junior" is now 10 days old, so I think she's gonna take )

I think you've left it too late - you should have topped it at about the 5th or 6th node - 26 inches is awfully big for topping now.

Oh well, but then shouldnt I top it anyway to give more strenght to the nodes?

topping it now sort of seems late, however its still possible. if you intend to veg it out for a while and you need the extra head room, might as well. just keep in mind that you are stressing the plant, so i like to let it recover before i turn the lights off to 12/12!

topping does not add too yield. but it sounds so cool. VV
