T5 HO lights..

Ok, i have done a ton of research on this topic of lighting but still have a question about it...

I have been looking at 2 lights, one is a 4' 4 lamp (4x54w bulbs) for $160 the other is 2' 4 lamp (4x96w) for $100....

My grow box is 4.5' but only using about 3 feet of it, since the 2' light is cheaper and avail. for pickup not delivery, would this suffice my setup or would i need a 4' even though the 2' puts out more lumens? :wall:

How many plants do you plan on growing? and what size pots will you be using?

Well i only need them indoors from now until may 1st or somewhere around there when ever the last frost is... So they are in jiffy pots right now (about 3"w X 5" h) or whatever size that is and they i will transplant them once if i need to or just keep them in that until they go outside....

I have 12 germinated seeds that i planted but only 3 have sprouted so far... (This is day 4 since planting)

Any ideas cause i wanna snatch up this light if its better then the 4 footer cause its cheaper and someone has it for sale locally....

Both will work good but the thing is you start small, in the future you might want to go bigger so if you already have the 4' tubes it's a +.

Well after i asked someone to go buy the 2' light for me because it was cheaper and local instead of waiting for it to get shipped here....

It got here and the cunt that sold it to me lied, its a T5 HO sunblaze 24, she said it had 4x96w bulbs in it, but it really only has 2x24(3000k) and 2x24(6500k) in it... so its only 96w total not 96w each bulb so now im fucking pissed!! Coulda thrown another $50 in and waited a week and had a way bigger light!!!! :fire::fire::finger::finger::wall::wall::finger::finger::fire::fire::finger::finger:


Oh well live and learn, looks like its going up for sale on ebay or something then to get a better one!! :finger:

i have a 2ft sun blaze and its perfect for a clone tray, clone box or starting around 12 seeds or more. very low power usage. i get really nice roots with it. cloneing takes a week to 2 weeks a good side light for closet

Yeah im just really pissed cause i was lied too and i really need a bigger light for veggin under.... Its a nice light, just too small for what i needed... :o:o
