you should definitely try the buckets. very easy upkeep. i got almost all my supplies from usplastic

i did a fair bit of research and it seems ebb and flow is better for more smaller plants spaced closer togeather rather than a few big plants, thats the case with flood trays anyways...i was thinking of doing a bucket setup kinda like this http://store.homegrown-hydroponics.com/12siebbflbus.html but only with 3-4 buckets and a smaller res, no controller, needs overflow tubing but i think thats to much work,parts, maintenance...i think, bucket, airstone, lid, net pot with hydroton and a plant and voila!!!
the main prob with dwc seems to be water temps but i dont seem to have any temp issues

I think it's been about 53 days in flower now. the seed company quotes 45-55 days. I'm not really seeing much more amber trichs like i want to, but i've been flushing with straight water for 2 weeks now and I'm not sure if i can wait much longer. The leaves are yellowing like crazy without any nutrients which i'm fine with and expected at the end of the grow, but my water starts at a ph of 7 and within hours of changing the res, ph is down to ~4.5. I was adding ph down to the res, but I get it down to 5.8 and come back in a few hours to 4.5. I don't really know why, but it's for sure not good for the plant and I have no PH up.
I'll probably harvest this weekend.

sucks about the ph prob but if your just about to harvest i guess your not in deep water
