First time growing with cfls

I had three of em i chucked when i moved too! They have the cvs brand the kind you can put vapo rub in when your sick ..should be perfect in a small grow room!!
 
Alright i have a decision to make and i need your help......Look at the plant in the attachment... It is a really fun plant to work with and it really responds well to the lst..i really like the strain but i flowered it way too soon and i have no clones... The branches are really spindly and the buds are just growing weird.....soooo.... should i..

a.) Try to cut off a bud and clone it

or

b.) clop off All the extra bud material but leave lowest/tiniest buds and revert the whole plant and use it as a mother???

This plant really wont make or break my crop but i just wanna know what someone else would do. And i am aware of the hermie risk

Cut a couple long skinny branches without alot of bud and trim them a nice long clean stem 6-10" then stick them in soul and 18+hrs of light!! It will take a week to get back to revegg then a week to grow rooots but it will clone:) make as many as possible incase some dont make it!
 
Just re looked at her clip the bottom 4 branches leave the lollly pop top to finish! And clip off the lil buds too they will die when the branches go back to vegg:)

Im willing to compromise with that plan.. That top should still be fine without the rest of the plant to support it right?
 
The top will swell because its getting a whole plants worth of roots feeding it!! That 1 big mass will out way all those little branches! She will really fatten up!

ok so i was sold on it and i went to prepare to take te cuts and i pussied out.. I had already topped most of the branches weeks ago so its just a single branch with 2 buds on top and im unsure how much to get rid of.....If i clip off both those buds it will just be a stick with a couple leavesand nowhere for new growth????? SHould i then just cut like half the bud off and then throw em into 18hrs?

Here u go cant tell if these will help.. But maybee u can see what i mean, the buds are pretty much the only growth on the plant so would i have to leave the buds on in order to reveg

haahaahaha just kidding but you can prob get 2-3 good cuts off her..in red i made marks for cuts cut closer to the stem i was just pointing out where i would take the cuts from ..leave the leafy material up at the tip and dip and burry all the way to the leaf..use sharp clean blade/scissors.. dont mist just keep the soil moist dome if possible..upside down 2-liters make goodd domes:)

Yeah i have really bad lighting in my house(most of my light bulbs stay in the closet) so i have to try and get all funky with the angles ....and my cam sux:lol: So on those cuts should i leave the buds on so they can reveg or prune em off
 
THEY WILL DIE ANYWAY SO CHOP EM.LEAVE THE LEAFAGE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE:) ...LIKE I SAID JUST STICKING THEM IN THE DIRT IS THE EASIEST WAY AND THATS HOW I BROUGHT BACK THE ww CUTS NOW THEY ARE ROOTED! KEEP MOIST NOT WET....

yeah i caught on to that when i realized i was using peat pellets and no nutes in the water....So i mixed 1/2peat to 1/2 of the soil i use i started 4 of my other clones and they look great conpared to the peat pellets... Well alright im dividing her up tonight. Ill post pics of the carnage toorrow!
 
Light is light more the merrier...of coarse there are exceptions ...i.e. Halogen. What a shame so bright and so cheap:( i guess too much heat and wrong spectrum??
 
sounds suficiant but down grading the light is not good. i know accidents happen ive broke tooooo many bulbs myself. but when u start flower you need to add light. mabey pick up a couple 48 watts cfls to throw in the mix if budget allows. im sure the added light would help pick up your growth. as for your re-veg ive never tried my self an would be kinda apprihencive to try my self get some more opions for sure
