Multi-Strain 12/12 from seed...

Another Florida boy takin a seat in the house, Cocoa Beach area here. I never heard of this 12/12 method, so how long does it take for the plant to flower ? U just skip the veggin stage and jump straight to flowerin? I'm intrested in this style of growin, I'll be watchin, got a few seeds on the way from attitude, might give this 12/12 method a try. But can't you veg(18/6) for like 2 weeks then swich to 12/12, and that would help you get more yield ??? Good luck man, keep us updated.

i love all the florida folks, welcome brotha...i hadn't heard of it till a couple months ago and this will be my first time, but i've been doing a ton of research. google 12/12 from seed, and then check out the huge thread on icmag, pretty imformative...to my understanding the males show themselves round 17-23 days, then they pretty much start flowering..the usual time for these types of grows is 60 days, sometimes more depending on strain..strain is also the main factor in yield, as some plants grow 4 ft tall and yield over an oz, while others are 12 inch quarter yielding...i hear that sativas and indi/sat mixes do best..there's a link a couple posts back to a dudes grow doin an incredible grow this way...it's also reported, for whatever reason, that more females are showing up with this method...veggin for a couple weeks or more would def increase yields and make for a larger, bushier plant..with this style it makes the plants grow like a pole with one main cola and virtually no bushing out, it's like a SOG...so if i can have 12 females jammed in there and get an oz off each one i'd be one happy bastard...

yeah, pretty much...i'm gonna have small yields on some strains that are mostly indica, but the mixes and pure sativa should do an oz per plant, hopefully....what you toking on these days on the atlantic side??

thanks rocket....you're the master, how am i looking so far?? i've give em a just a tad of grow big...i'm wondering how some of the mostly indica's are gonna do...i'm praying for over 8 ozs, anything over that would just be phenomenal!!

Sounsgood bro,i don't like mixing strains but it has to be done sometimes.i just finding a ballance feed that will suite all the plants.if the plants are done from seed this makes things easyer because they ajjust much better.but some folk use differant mixes but with a little time and thought research you will find a plant for all of them.good luck don.

Growkind, how are they doing? Any recent pics? To be honest, they look a little yellowish-light greenish in the first few pics. If it gets worse, then you can probably blame the OceanForest. Ill only be using that stuff for flowering. You should try the MiracleGrow Seedling Starter. Ask Skywalker1, he has had a great success rate using that. My current chronic is mixed 50-50 with the seedling starter and HappyFrog.

Im sure you will be fine if they are still doing good though.

hey vape, they are all looking Phenomenal!! my MH light makes em look a bit yellow in the pics ive noticed...their growing very fast, dark green and seem to be loving life...i've never had a problem with using FFOF early on..i'll get some new pics up soon..peace dude

i'm not too sure yet...i don't think you're supposed to top 12/12 from seed plants, not 100% on that though...i'll probably let em just do what they gonna do! i also really hope that i get some oz producing little jewels!

yeah brotha, check em out...and i'll have some new ones up real soon....sooo exciting, i know, i just loving watching the new growth everyday...it's amazing how much the roots grow when the light is out!

When I played arround with this sort of thing I veg'ed them for 2 weeks under 18/6 lighting and topped them all once as soon as I was able to. Under 12/12 from seed yeah it may be differant however you may want to experment by pinching a top on 2 or 3 plants and see how they do for ya.

just lil update on mine i got finaly got confirmation i now have 2 females. i started them the 19th of feb. and have had them 12 12 ever since. kinda sad tho only 2 females out of 6 plants. o well. goin to be done soon it will be nice to see how much you get compaired to how much I get. Mine should be small since im just using a couple cfls
