but if u look at some of the differnt seed banks they all same something differnt
You could send a sample off to a lab that tests such things. They would be able to tell you the true number.

Yes, the different seed co's have different numbers and almost all of those number look inflated to me. I know some strains are stronger than others through experimentation and so I stick with what I like.

how do u find out the percentage of ur bud

That is something that is almost impossible for most growers to do.

Most growers do not have the needed equipment or expertise to find out what the actual THC level of their bud is.

Also relying on information found on a seedbank or breeders website will at best only give you a general idea since as is said about cars your mileage may vary.

Depending on a person’s setup and growing conditions what one grower achieves from a strain in THC levels will be different from that of what another grower achieves growing the exact same strain from the exact same breeder and from the exact same run of seeds.

There is so much emphasis placed by many on THC and THC alone with little to no emphasis placed on the various other chemicals in marijuana that are also very important and that can in some way or ways either make or break the final results of growing.

If I remember correctly by 1974 there were 37 different chemicals identified in marijuana plants. To date not all chemicals in marijuana has been discovered and some that have been discovered are not fully understood and their actual functions and affects are not known or not fully known.

Some researchers believe that between 200 and 300 different chemicals may exist in marijuana so there is likely a great deal yet to be learned about the ancient plant.

What actual potency relies on goes well beyond levels of THC alone and is instead a combination of the various chemicals, both psychoactive and non-psychoactive, that are in marijuana.

A strain that is lower in THC but has THCV, something not found in indica strains, and has higher levels of CBC and low levels of CBN and CBD can be more potent than a strain with a higher level of THC and no THCV and high levels of CBN and CBD.

It all depends on the overall combination/percentages of many various chemicals that can be found in Marijuana.
