the stems are getting too long and lanky...
and my jiffy cubes may be getting too small for the roots to grow..
so i was wondering when i should transplant em into a bigger pot?
it's best i transplant em into soil right?
i mean it wouldnt make sense to let em sprout in peat moss then put em all into a biggr pot of big round cocopuff looking rock things?

wow they got long.
Yea I would suggest soil, I tried miracle grow potting mix, and killed all of those plants. But MG seed starter seems to work fine. Right now Im mixing 1part mg seed starter, 1part Black Gold and 1 part perlite and that is working quite well.
and I think the "big round cocopuff looking rock things" you are referring to are hydroton, and that is for hydro type setups. Soil is much simpler, with more room for error.
I will transplant a couple of seedlings later today and take pics for you.:leaf: or if you didnt want to wait you could do a search through the forums.

Plant them deep, with only about a quarter inch or so above the soil. It looks like you have stretching going on so either lower your lighting or add to it, or both. If not they will just stretch again.

when using peat pellets, you transplant as soon as they sprout, before the roots reach the sides. Remove the netting and plant deep in soil, transplant entire plant under ground, leaving about a cm above ground.Add B1 to water to help with shock and stress.

Yep, that be text book! I, however, like to strengthen the roots as much as possible. I hold off on nutes til they show signs of def. (go w/B-1 fer germ and trans!), and I make them grow thru the netting (I loosen it, and slice very small hole all thru out). this enable the roots to grow, searching fer food, but finding obstacles to exercise thru!
